"He will arrest you" she replied

"he can arrest me and lock me up I don't care but when I get out you best hope I never lay eyes on you, or the hit you just got would be childish to what you will get" I tell her then stand up look and see Jared and Embry standing there with blank expressions on their face.

"What happened to her?" Sam asked as he walked in and did his every day greeting with Emily.

"Lexia" was all that was said and Sam just nodded

"I'll get Jacob on you," Bella said

I turned and looked at her

"Please do" I replied

the faint sound of chuckling could be heard as Paul and Jacob walked towards the house, up onto the porch than inside.

I grabbed Paul's face and checked it for any red marks.

"Baby I am fine," he tells me

"good," I said then kissed him as he sat down and ate a muffin.

"What happened to your jaw?" Jacob asked Bella who finally stood up

I looked at her then to Jacob. She said nothing

"I decked her ass" I informed him

"You what?" he asked

"You heard me" I replied

"Why did you hit her, she did nothing to you?"

"No not to me but she hit Paul, and since Paul can't hit back seeing as she is human, and shifters protect and not hurt humans I hit her since I am a human and that makes her fair game."

"You have no right getting involved in this"

I looked at Jacob and moved out of Paul's hold.

"I have every right to be involved, he is my Fiance, I am his imprint, so when something happens to him I will find out about it, and if it's just like this then I will take care of it."

"So your fighting his battles now huh?"

"No, I am just sticking up for my man, not some pale human who is dragging me along in the dirt like a toy until her vampire comes back."

"Or what Jacob, huh? what are you gonna do if I don't?"

"Enough both of you, Jacob take Bella home, Lexia calm down," Sam said

I was livid and they all know when I am like this I don't take orders.

"Sam I'm not a shifter you Alpha tone is useless on me, so knock it off," I inform him as I stare at Jacob.

"Baby please calm down," Paul says grabbing my hand and brushing his thumb back and forth over my hand.

Jacob did as Sam told him too, while I removed my hand from Pauls and walked out of Emily's place.

Ignoring the calling of my name and pleading from Paul I walked to the beach to cool off.

I stood there before the water and looked out and just focused on the sounds of the waves crashing to shore then retreating only to repeat it's actions.

"There you are, We've been looking all over for you"

I looked back and seen Kim walking up behind me

"Sma mad?" I asked

"No, he understands why you were how you were, and knows that you didn't mean any disrespect," she tells me and pulls me into a hug.

"I am upset with you boy Jared, he didn't want Embry to tell me and he wanted to keep it from me what happened," I tell her as I hugged her back

"I know," she said and linked her arm with mine as we walked back and seen Embry walk over and he rubbed my back

"You ok now?" he asked

"I nodded

"I've calmed down," I tell him

"good, I am glad" he replied

I nodded as we got closer to Emily's.

"baby girl," Paul said walking over towards us..

Kim let me go and Embry walked passed Paul and into the house with Kim right behind him as Paul walked up and wrapped his arms around me and held me close in a much needed hug. I laid my head on his shoulder and hugged him back.

"I am sorry I ignored you, I just needed to calm down before I went after her and did more than just bruise her jaw," I said

He pulls back and holds my shoulders.

"You don't have to apologize I understand why you did what you did, and I want to thank you for it," he said then kissed me.

I of coursed Kissed him back, he pulled back wrapped his arm around my waist and we walked the rest the way to Emily's heading right inside.

"Are you ok?" Emily asked as she walked up to me and hugged me.

I hugged her back with my free arm since my other was wrapped around Paul's waist.

"Yea I am ok now," I tell her
