"I am sorry for the disrespect that happened," I tell Sam

"I understand that he wasn't helping matters and she wasn't either," he tells me

"  don't take what I said about me not being a shifter or you being my Alpha to heart, I think of you like a brother."

He walked over and hugged me

"It's fine I would have been the same, I didn't take it as a form of disrespect or anything in that sort."

I nodded and hugged him back.

"What the hell was that all about, you showing disrespect to Sam and Emily, then you punch my friend in the face"

I looked over at Jacob and stood up.

"I took care of her, when she hit my fiance, you have a problem with that you tell me now," I tell him

"Yea  I have a problem with you hitting her, Paul could have dealt with her you didn't need to butt in," he remarked

"Funny how you talk about butting in, when you shifted after she slapped Paul, so you butted in as well" I replied

"I was doing it to protect her"  he stated

"Yea well Paul won't hit a woman or girl so I did it for him" I stated

"you're fighting his battles now huh?"

" Nope, just hitting who he can't or won't."

Jacob was trying to stir me to become angry like I was when I first got here and found out about Bella hitting Paul.

"Jacob knock it off, what happened has happened so drop it," Sam told him

"It's not right that she hits Bella and thinks she can get away with it," Jacob tells him

"Do somthing about it" I egged him

I walked outside and he followed

He went to push me but Paul stood before him.

"You know better than to do that Jacob," Paul tells him

Jacob laughed and shook his head

"fighting one another's battle, how cute," Jacob said

I rolled my eyes

"Jacob Patrol now, and drop it" Sam ordered.

"This isn't over," Jacob said then took off into the woods.

I looked up at Paul and kissed him then went and hugged Emily and Sam then went and said bye to the others.

I woke up early got showered, went to a little beauty shop had the stylist do my wedding hair doo, while another one did my makeup. after that, I headed back home getting ready for my wedding. I figured that the girls would be coming over but they never showed up. so I guessed they were already at the location.

I arrived where the pre-wedding pictures would take place and got them done, even without my maid of honor and bridesmaids.

So when it got real close I headed to where I was needed to go. When I got there I saw no one, No cars, no guests. I hoped Paul would at least be here but when I walked up the Aisle and just seen the officiator.

I looked at all the empty seats and then the officiator seeing the pity look she had and the sorrow for me as she seen what I did.

I waited there for two hours and nobody showed up. At that time I headed back up the Aisle after thanking the lady for showing up. I contacted the place that was catering to my "reception" and told them where to set up since they hadn't done it yet.

I stood there and watched as the needy families ate and enjoyed their hot meals. I was glad that the food wasn't being wasted and that people regardless of them not being my wedding guest was enjoying themselves.

After I left I headed over to Sam's and Emily's I sat at the table.

Emily nor the girls was home so I just sat there and waited for someone if not all of them to show.

The wolf call was given which had me look up at the door and watch as the guys filed in.

"Wow Lexia you look really beautiful," Jared said

I said nothing just nodded my head

"Why are you in a dress?" Embry asks

"Yea it's not Halloween, so no need to dress up," Quil remarked

I ignored him and looked at Paul.

He walked over and went to kiss me but I turned my head.

the guys oohed and the typical crap they do.

"What is wrong?" he asked

I stood up and blinked as the tears ran down my face as I looked at him.

"Baby what is wrong?" he asked

"What happen who is hurt?" Sam asked as he and Jacob walked in

"Why is she in a dress?" Jacob asked

"IT'S MY FUCKING WEDDING DRESS, I WAS SUPPOSE TO BE MARRIED RIGHT NOW BUT NO ONE SHOWED UP BUT ME AND THE OFFICAIATOR," I told him

they all looked at me then amongst themselves.

I cried more as I stared at a blank face, Paul.

"I am gonna kill you Jacob" he finally said then advanced towards him but Sam stood between the two of them.
