Present Day

Angelica's P.O.V

"You're definitely showing him."

Flavia giggled as I looked in the mirror. Holy crap. Well, this is new.

"It's a great way to start the 12th grade, isn't it?"

I commented, running my hands through my hair. I had dark brown hair all my life. I finally decided to dye it. The colour i chose was blonde.

"Well yeah, but you're avoiding what I'm telling you."

Flavia told me. I raised my eyebrows and looked at her. She smirked.

"Nope, I'm just ignoring you."

I said and returned to look back in the mirror. Flavia swiped my phone from my bed.

"C'mon, it'll be funny. Now you and Lachlan will be blonde."

Flavia reminded me. I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah, more the reason for people to ship us or think we're together at school. Y'know, I still have people saying that we would make a good couple."

I remembered as Flavia snorted.

"Funny because now he dates that chick... what's her name again?"

Flavia asked. I tried not to groan. I'm happy for Lachlan. I really am...

"Charlotte."

I answered. Lachlan started dating a girl named Charlotte just before summer began. She was a dancer at our school. A skinny brunette with big blue eyes and a perky personality. Of course, she is popular. It only makes sense that Lachlan, a popular rugby player would date Charlotte, a popular dancer.

I'm. Happy. For. Him.

Right?

"Hm, I still choke on her perfume every time she walks by. It smells like bubblegum. I wonder if Lachlan chokes on it while he's kissing her."

Flavia chuckled. I mentally cringed at the thought of Lachlan kissing her. No thanks. Don't want that image in my head, thank you very much.

"Then why don't you tell her to lay off the perfume?"

I asked and sighed. I really wished Flavia would let go of the Charlotte subject.

"Maybe. But anyways, let's show Lachlan."

Flavia walked to where I was standing in front of my room mirror. I sighed.

"Whatever! If I do, will you stop begging me about Lachlan?"

I asked. Flavia raised her hands up in surrender.

"God, Fine. I'll stop."

Flavia handed me my phone and walked away from the shot. I took the picture and shown it to Flavia.

"Ooo, you look super hot. I wonder what Lachlan would think."

Flavia teased. I started to blush.

"I don't want Lachlan to think I'm hot!"

I told her, my cheeks burning up even more. I turned away from her and sent the picture to Lachlan.

Lachlan's P.O.V

"I'm not camping."
