Moon Warrior

Chapter two

Sage P.O.V

" Sam," I said awkwardly.

My friends knew that I have loved him since the age of thirteen. That was when a war with the New moon pack was starting. So my dad decided to take us to the city. Now that he has passed we came back. 

I was interrupted by my thought when I felt Sam hug me. I didn't know if he felt the same way. 

He smelt sweaty, like he had been on a run. He smelt amazing, but then he had the smell of another women, well girl technically. I step back.

" What's wrong?" He questioned.

" Um, uh, nothing," I replied. " Nothing at all."

Serina shot a worried look at Sam.

" Um, I'm gonna go unpack, and I'm tired," I say.

Sam's facial expression changed to a wide smile to a barely noticeable frown. I felt guilty about it, but I just kept walking.

I then tried to speed up cause Jax was following me. He was faster so he caught up to me.

" Sage, I wanna give you an opportunity," He said.

" What do you mean?" I asked.

" I want you to challenge the delta, he is old and he will probably back down," He explained.

" I'll think about it," I replied and just walked off.

It's not like I wanna be moody with my friends, but it just hurt when I smelled the girl on him.

 My I-phone binged, so I check on it. It was my Instagram group chats with some of my old friends at the pack high school. 

Oh God, the thought of even just stepping in that place again. 

I walk into the house, but my mom was not there.

I throw my bag down on the ground by my new bed. The bed spread was purple and it's pillows had white cases on them. The room wall was painted a light blue and there was a walk in closet, along with a bathroom. I walked into the bathroom and slicked my long wavy brown hair back into a bun. I washed my pail face with water. It was refreshing. 

 I put on a black silk nightgown before I lay down on my soft bed. My eyes become droopy and I fell asleep.

I wake up about an hour later, only to hear someone bang on the front door. 

" Pack meeting now!" A guard said.

" Shit," I murmur to myself.

I grab my bag except that when I went to reach it, it was gone. I got up out of bed,  but in the corner of my eye I saw something on the ceiling. I look up and I see my bag. 

" What the hell," I say.

Um did I just do that. No I could not have. That dream was just a dream. I try lowering it, and it works. Oh my god. It was real. I am the moon goddesses daughter. HOLY SHIT! I started breathing heavy. My heart was pounding and my head began to grow fuzzy.

Then a wave of happiness came over me. I couldn't help but feel powerful. I wasn't greedy about it, I just can't explain it. I knew these powers will come in handy when I meet my mate. I just pray it's not any male alpha from another pack. 

My wolf started to come up. That is impossible because I've kept her down for three years. 

" HEY COME ON!" the guard yelled again. 

I threw on a gray sweater slash jacket and my black boots. I walk out the door going into the pack house.

" Finally you made it," Jax said.

Everyone's eyes met on mine.

" Sorry, your guard woke me up," I said.

" Um you're also under dressed," Commented Juliet.

That bitch. I got a sniff of her and she smelled like the girl I smelled on Sam.

" Could you like back off bitch?" I said. " OK thanks." 

" You're the one who's just jealous cause I have a boyfriend and you don't," She snapped.

" Um yeah cause I'm so jealous that delusions aren't wrapped around my mind like yours," I snapped back. 

" Ladies please!" Jax yelled. 

" Sorry Alpha Jax," commented Juliet.

 " Sage," Jax said in a warning tone. " Apoligise, now."

" No," I said in a calm voice. 

Some people in the crowd gasped in my defiance.

Suddenly someone barges in through the door. 

" Sorry I couldn't tell you guys sooner because of your argument," He started. " But Alpha Kole has come to find his mate, now this is the last pack that he has come to and if he does not find his luna then it is a human, and that is the worst kind." 

He walks around the pack, and eventually he ends up stopping at me.

" Mate," He said. 

" No," Anna mumbles.

He turns and looks at her in a threatening way. 

" Excuse me but I didn't give you the option to speak!" He snapped holding his hand up to her throat.

Jax walks up to him. Alpha Kole couldn't have been past the age of twenty.

" Get your hand off of her unless you want to start another war," Jax threatend.

I slowly started to back away to the door. I knew I had vampire speed, and a witches power. Along with other unpredictable powers. 

A wooden board creeked under my footsteps. 

" Don't even think about it," He growled. " You're mine!"

I sprint out of the pack house. I didn't want to use my vampire speed cause if he had seen it then he wouldn't underestimate me. I need him to underestimate me cause if he didn't-

" OW!" I scream in pain. I wasn't even in the Dark Forest when he caught me. Kole tackled me to the ground, pinning both of my arms down.

" Let go of me!" I scream in his ear.
