"Please don't shoot." I begged as both y/n and I shook in fear. The footsteps coming closer to us. The cold metal ring of the gun touched my forehead. I squeezed y/n tighter and I opened my eyes to look at y/n. She was watching this all happen. How could she? I was being held at gunpoint. She looked like she just saw a ghost.
"Get up." The masked man dressed in all black said. His voice sounded fairly familiar. I shook as I got up. I let go of y/n but she was gripping onto my hand.
"LET GO OF HIS HAND!!" the man yells at her.
"Hey! Don't talk to her like that!" I yelled back at him. He shot my side, causing me to fall to my knees.
"SAY ANOTHER WORD AND SHE GETS SHOT NEXT! NOW LET GO OF HIS HAND!" He aimed the gun at her and she slowly left my hand. It felt like it was gonna the the last time I would hold her so I cried silently.
"You're coming with me. Both of you. And be quiet." He grabbed us both by the arm and started walking us out of the hospital through a back way.
"W-Who are you..?" y/n stuttered.
"DID I STUTTER WHEN I SAID TO BE QUIET?!" He squeezed our arms and we both winced in pain as I grasped my wound.
"You better shut up. I really don't wanna kill you guys." He spoke. I looked over to y/n who was sobbing as quietly as she can. Why was he sparing us? I couldn't understand that. Eventually, we end up leaving the hospital and he puts us in the back seats of the car. Poor y/n, still recovering from whatever she had to recover from. I continued applying pressure to my wound.
"Daniel, what's happening? I'm really scared." She cried in my chest as I hugged her close.
"I don't know, but this person sounds familiar to me. His voice, I recognize it." I rubbed her back. The door opened and he got in.
"I'm gonna take you somewhere. You can't let anyone know where you're going. Part of the reason the windows are tinted." He spoke as he drove us for what felt like hours. He did put some music on and I recognized it immediately.
"You know this one?" He asked us. He smirked.
"Yes. Because I wrote the song. The song was "Runner".
"So did I." He said under his breath just enough for us to hear it.
"So I know you?" I said.
"Oh you should. You know me VERY well, Seavey." He said it in the tone he always does.
"Stop." I begged as I started to feel guilty.
"Wait, what do you mean?" y/n asks.
"N-nothing y/n..." I looked down.
"I'll tell you. I will tell you every last detail." he spoke.
"No, y/n you don't have to know." I said quick and immediately.
"You don't have anything to hide from me. Right Daniel? So you shouldn't be scared. Unless you're hiding something from me..." y/n sat up and pulled away from me.
