He was a gardener
He was known to grow unfamiliar
Flowers, the village has ever seen.
One day the Gardener met a girl
She was so pretty, her hazel eyes
Would glow in the sunlight gaze.
He asked the girl if she would like
To see his garden. She said yes.
Oh the Garden he showed her was so
Beautiful the flowers had patterns on their
Petals, or how some of them were vibrant in their color.
He would cut the flowers from their stems and make a bouquet for her.
With each week the gardener did this.
As it went on the garden slowly was losing
It's growth.
The flowers withered, the petals lost
It's vibrant glow.
Some of the pile of flowers that once were
Just looked like plain thorn bushes.
The Garden that was once beautiful
Was no longer a Garden but a barren
Of dead grass and empty bushes.
The gardener didn't get the
Girl, because all she wanted was
The pretty bouquets he made her
And nothing more.
Once he had no garden
He lost the girl.
