"So how much longer till you go back to school?" Isaiah shows me a look of pity.
I was about to reply when I felt my shirt dampen by my shoulder and a soft snore was heard near my ear. I turn my head to be met with raven black hair that tickled under my nose. Of course, Max just had to blackout right after destroying the pinata that THEY got me. Yeah I know, why would they give me a pinata at a welcome home party, I don't even have the slightest clue but I don't question their pea brains anymore.
"Max, you fat lump of lard. Get off of me." I wheeze as I try to lift his head off.
He just mumbles and rests more of his body weight on me. My eyes narrow on his chocolate-covered mouth with drool spilling out and about to plop on my arm again.
Slumping my shoulders forward, I let him flop to the ground. Landing in a funny position, he is almost kneeling but his face is pressed into the ground. His bottom the only thing sticking up in the air as he sleeps like a slug. I then realize all the candy he had stored in his pockets, mainly just leftover wrappers, is now all over the floor.
Isaiah and I burst out laughing at the excuse we call my brother.
"I got to drop a few potatoes in the crockpot" Axel excuses himself as he waddles off to the 'Little boy's room' he likes to call it. I find it creepy but I'm too lazy to fight him about his choice of words.
"He's waddling like a penguin with clenched cheeks," claims Isaiah as he bends down to examine Max's loot. He brushes the opened wrappers out of the way to find any uneaten candy.
"So, how much longer?" he repeats.
I tense in annoyance, I'm not exactly thrilled to be going to school again. Even if it's my senior year, I had been transferred to a different school at the end of my sophomore year after I was expelled but I took my junior year at the sanctuary. Now I'm starting my year in a school I absolutely despise.
"A few more days" I sigh.
"Sorry babe," Sharkboy replies. "Too bad I graduated last year or we would have dominated the hell out of that place, like Mr. and Mrs. Smith."
"Pfff, you wouldn't even be going to the same school as me." I hold my laughter back.
"Girl, I would piss in the principal's fruit loops if it means we will be at the same school" He recommends.
"...wow, well your heart is in the right place," I trying holding in my laugh. "But I don't think you are that naughty to do such a thing."
"Fine, what if I was a little zesty with the principal." He tries again.
Axel decides to come out at this moment, his pants are wet in the crotch area from him holding an ice pack there earlier but some people don't know so they begin to send him amused glances.
"Did you enjoy yourself in there, buddy?" Isaiah changes the subject.
"Oh shut up," Axel bellows as he finishes a random drink from off of the bar top.
"Did you at least wash your hands, Bananahammock?" I play along.
My brother just sends a glare right towards me for that comment.
"Ok well if you are going to be salty, Axel, then let's just go home," I suggest.
Huffing, he storms off to where he left his riding jacket.
I take one last sip of my Shirley temple before striding over to the pool rack and grabbing a wooden pole. Walking back over to the figure laying on the floor, I begin to poke him with the stick.
"Is he even breathing?" I wonder out loud.
Isaiah gets down on his hands and knees and begins to blow on Max's face.
After a while, Max's face begins to twitch and a dark pair of brown eyes collide with Isaiah's.
"Did you eat my fricken candy?" Maddog says with a look of betrayal.
"W-wh... How?...but you were sleeping," Isaiah mutters confused.
"Your breath stinks of MY Babyruth's."
I was becoming impatient with these two so I reach down, grabbing Max by the ear and pulled him up till he was standing on two feet. With his ear still gripped by my fingertips, I began to drag him with me over to my brother attempting to flirt with a girl.
She seems to be slowly inching away from my whacko brother. Smart thinking, I comment to myself.
Using my only free hand, my other still gripping my idiotic brother, I pickpocket Axel as he tries leaning even closer to the now timid girl. Throwing two 20's on the bar's ledge from my brother's now stolen wad of cash, I slip the rest in my pocket for later.
I grab Tweedledee's ear in my other hand so I have both the idiots in my grasps as I drag them out the door.
"Axel, drive Max home, he's still foaming at the mouth," I shiver in disgust as I shove my slobbering brother towards the other.
I don't wait much longer as I hop back on my bike and take off back down the almost bittersweet roads down to my forgotten home.

Inhaling a deep breath, it seeps into my lungs till an icy chill exceeds. Releasing, my lungs overcome a throb like numbness which I can feel the tingles at my finger tips.
Decayed earth lays beneath the balls of my feet, the sickly green grass withered next to a jagged stone walk way that leads to the entrance of a place no one would want to call a home. Luckily for me, I never could have what I've desired.
"It's good to be home. Isn't it sis?" Axel whispers into the nights air.
