Headed home from that little meeting I thought about my parents. I can't believe they are not here with me. Being the only child has really threw me in a loop. I have no one to share my life with.

My dad was strong on family. He actually wanted more kids but that son of a bitch took my parents away from me. And I will die if I have to until I get the bitches that took them away from me.

My dad was my idol. I looked up to him. He took care of mama and he damn sure took care of me. He made sure there was food on the table and clothes on my back. We always had a roof over our heads and everything we ever wanted and needed.

I was threw out my thoughts when my phone rings.

"Hello this is Dave."

"Hey Dave. You don't know me but I know you."

"And who the fuck is this? And how did you get my number?"

"I got it from a friend. We need to talk."

"Talk about what? I don't know you. And if you don't reveal yourself now this conversation is most definitely over."

"Wait please don't hang up. My name is Drika Smith. And I'm your sister."

"What the fuck? You ain't my damn sister. My parents only had one damn child and that is me. I think you got the wrong number."
Dave said snapping.

"No. I got the right number. And I am your sister. My dad well our dad was killed along with your mother. He was gonna tell you about me but he got killed before he could."

"This is bull shit. My pops would never cheat on my mama and make no fucking child on her. I'm telling you. You got the wrong damn number." Dave said getting furious.

"That's the thing. He didn't cheat on your mother. I was before you and her. We are like a year apart. They was talking yes but not married. We are a year apart. And I just want to meet you."

"That's bullshit. I don't believe you. What is it that you want huh? Money? Who set you up to do this?"

"No one. I'm telling you the truth.
Meet me downtown at the little jazz place and I'll explain the rest to you. I have proof that I am your sister."

Dave got quiet. He didn't want to believe that his dad had another kid. He was told he was the only child and that's what he believed. But he was curious to who this chic is.

"Fine meet me there in ten."

"I'm already here so see you when you get here. I'll wave you down when you walk in." Drika said.

"And what's your name again?"

"Drika." She said smiling.

"Aight. I'm on the way."

Dave drove and went to the jazz club. He smirked a little cause his night with Amber flashes back in his head. He was thrown by this Drika girl though. He pulled up to the place and parked his truck.
He sat there for a while before he got out.

Taking a deep breath he gets out the truck and walk to the door. He opens the door and the hostess smiles. She has always had a crush on him.
