I walked through the room pacing back and forth wondering where the hell Dave was. He was suppose to have been home. I'm so sick of this with him. Every week he has something going on. And he always put me on the back burner. And this has to stop and stop right now. I picked up my phone and called Ghost. I know he knows what is going on. The phone rung several times before he even answered the phone. He picked up the phone in a groggy voice.
"This better be good. You calling me this time of night and I was just sleeping good."
"I'm sorry for waking you Ghost. I really am. But I need to know what's going on."
"What you mean what's going on?"
"With Dave. He has not came home yet and he was suppose to have been here."
Ghost sighed heavy and sat up in the bed.
"Desie I don't get in the middle of you and Dave relationship and you know this. You just have to wait on him to come home and talk to him about it."
"No that is not gonna happen. And you know that. I need you to tell me what's really going on here."
"Like I said I don't get into that. I got my own issues going on baby girl. Now what I will do is call Dave and see if he's straight and have him call you. Is my niece good?" He asked her.
"Brandi is fine. I always make sure of that. But what I'm not fine with is him."
"I get that and I totally get that but I can't do nothing for you with that. I will call him and hit you back Aight." Ghost said.
"Fine I will be waiting." Desiree said pissed.
Ghost dialed Dave number and waited for him to answer.
"Didn't I tell you I will talk to you later man? What is it?"
"Before you get all pissed off and shit do you know that Desie just called me?"
"Called you? For what?"
"For you nigga. You need to talk to her. As a matter of fact you need to take your ass home. You know that girl is crazy."
"I ain't worried about her right now. If it doesn't have to do with business or Brandi she can wait. I'm going back to bed. I don't want to wake Amber."
"Wow. You don't want to wake Amber? Huh? Wow. Look man I ain't the one to judge and I'm not gonna get in your business. But you missing up bad bruh."
"I'll be the judge of that. I'll holla."
"So you ain't gonna call the girl at least?"
"Nah. She will be alright until tomorrow. Thanks for calling me though but I ain't concerned with that right now." Dave said nonchalantly.
"Aight man. Well I'll holla at you tomorrow. We got some serious things to discuss and I need you to be clear headed when we do."
"And I will be. Ain't I always?"
"I guess so. I'll see you."
