ANASTASIA'S P.O.V
My phone vibrates in my hand. I open it to see that Tyler has replied.
Tyler: Okay, will be there. Text me the address babe.
Babe? Maybe he is drunk. I shrugged and decided to ignore it. I got out of the car, taking the key from the driver I walked towards the building. I went across the lobby and stepped in the elevator. I checked my dad's message to confirm the floor before pressing on the correct button. As I waited for my floor to arrive I texted the address to Tyler and decided to send a message to Zach letting him know I can call him soon. After a few more minutes of waiting I finally arrived on my floor and hastily got out of the elevator, eager to get inside. I inserted the key and twisted it. Nothing. I twisted it again. Jeez, how hard can it be to open a door. Just because I never opened a door using a key doesn't mean I can't open one now. Does it require practice or something? Ugh, no matter how much I twist and turn this key the fucking door won't open. My phone vibrated in my hand. Groaning in frustration I open it to see another message from Tyler.
Tyler: Sweetheart, I'm out! Where are you?
Sweetheart? First babe and now sweetheart? What does he think of himself? What a flirt! How can dad choose such a playboy for me!? Once he gets here I will give him a piece of my mind. Someone needs to knock some sense in that thick skull of his. I texted him the floor number.
Anastasia: 12th floor. I'm waiting.
I decided to call the driver to come and open the door again, but before I do, I decided to give it another try so that I don't embarrass myself. I gave one last twist. I. GIVE. UP!? I kicked on the door hard. WORST MISTAKE EVER! I hopped on one foot as I massaged my right foot. Geez, how much does it take for this stupid door to open! I gently put my foot down and take out the key and that's when I hear the ding sound letting me know the elevator has opened. Letting me know HE is here. All of a sudden I felt my hands go clammy with sweat and I felt the key slipping through the fingers landing on the floor with a clang. I froze. I just froze. I heard a soft sigh and his footsteps getting near. The closer he got the more nervous I became.
All of a sudden I felt his presence behind me as he bends down to pick the key and standing up to slid it inside the keyhole and with one swift twist the door opened. I felt his breath on my neck and my whole body gave a shudder. I stepped inside quickly and slightly turned my head to sneak a peek at him. My breath stopped. He was that gorgeous. His dishevelled brown hair and his amber eyes looking at me in shock. Wait shock? I turned fully so that I can face him and I could see the anger in those beautiful beautiful amber eyes. Anger? First shock and now anger? Is it my imagination or something?
I realized that he was shirtless. I was so busy getting lost in those amber eyes that my brain forgot to register that he was freakin shirtless!?
He had a narrow waist and hip with a broad upper half. And his shoulder had a tattoo and it looked so smooth. His six-pack abs were a full-on show for everyone (well here for me) to see. I looked back at his face, blushing at the fact that I just checked him out. I took short sharp breaths as I clasped my sweaty hands together in front of me. He had this strong smell of green tea. The same smell my green tea had. I wrinkled my brow in confusion, thinking why would he smell of green tea out of everything?
"You really don't remember me? Anastasia Rose De Luca." I flinched at his cold tone. It sent a shiver down my spine. His voice sounded oddly familiar, I just couldn't pinpoint it. I was still thinking about the incident that had happened in the café when the realization dawned on me. I looked at him in shock.
"It was you...?"
"Good morning." He rolled his eyes at me. "Thanks to you I smell like green tea now and I swear if this smell doesn't go from my hair I will murder you!"
"In your dreams Tyler Allen Hemmings. You are such a jerk!" I raised my voice glaring at him, remembering all the rude things he had said to me at the café.
"Please, you were the one to dump the drink on me! How am I the jerk here!!" He roared.
"If you weren't being such an egoistic butthead than maybe I wouldn't have had to waste such a good drink on that ugly head of yours!?"
"Did you just call me ugly!" he glared.
"Yes, I did!" I put my hands on my hips as I continued to glare at him. He took a step forward still glaring at me. Surprised I took a step back. We continued to do this until I stumbled and fell on top of the sofa and on the hurry to grab something; I grabbed his hand and pulled him on top of me too. At that very moment, both of our phones started to ring. I looked at the screen in horror to see it was a video call. From my DAD!?
