ANASTASIA'S P.O.V

Tyler's laughter stopped when he noticed the two guys standing in front of our door. The two of them turned around at the sound of the elevator opening and Tyler rushed out towards them and engulfed them in a bear hug. Handsy much? I guess they were the so-called friends he mentioned earlier and the huge suitcases and moving boxes that were with them were filled with Tyler's belongings. I coughed to indicate my presence and they all broke apart and I felt all eyes on me. Great I have caught their attention, "Hello." I raised my hand and waved awkwardly as I smiled at them. Both gave me charming smiles and returned my greeting in unison.

"You must be the beautiful Anastasia that we have heard so much about." The blond one came forward and took my hand and planted a kiss on the back of my hand. I blushed at his gentlemanly yet flirty behavior," I don't know about beautiful but yes, I am Anastasia." I confirmed with a smile.

"If arranged marriages meant that I could have a beautiful partner as yourself then I better tell my dad to start looking for a bride." The blondie continued.

The black-haired one came forward, "Sorry my friend here lacks social skills. I am Jake and this is Xander."

"Nice to meet you both." Things started to get a bit awkward and that's when Tyler came and saved the day. "Hey, why don't ya'll come inside? My fiancée is gonna cook something for us." He smirked and winked at me. That sneaky bastard.

I nodded forcing a smile and opened the door to let them all inside the house. As Tyler was getting in I pulled him back and hissed, "Do you have a death wish!"

"What do you mean?" he asked a bit surprised at my reaction.

"I can't cook idiot!"

He raised an eyebrow, "You're kidding right?"

I gave him a deadpan look, "Does it look like I am?"

He sighed in annoyance "Is there anything you can do?"

"Yes." I rolled my eyes.

"Can you at least cut vegetables?"

"I am not that bad...geez...I know the basics at least."

"Okay. You go and cut them up, I will be there soon." He says and follows his friends to the living room and I walk towards the kitchen and start on the vegetables. I was almost done and he still wasn't back. After I was done I kept them inside a bowl and took out the rest of the groceries and put them away in their respective places. As I was almost done Tyler walked in wearing an apron, his hair pulled up in a small bun. He started taking out the meat and whatever was necessary and started to prep things up. He looked like he knew his way around the kitchen. I walked towards the bar and took out a champagne bottle and 4 glasses and started to set the table. After half an hour a wonderful aroma wafted out of the kitchen and filled the entire apartment. My stomach growled at the smell. I walk inside the kitchen and see him putting last touches on his lasagna. My mouth watered at the sight of it.

He caught me staring at it and smirked, "You're welcome."

"Are you a professional or something?" I smiled and helped him carry the dishes to the table.

"Something like that." He said and went back to the living room to call his friends as I got the bottle opener for the champagne.

"Dang that smells like home right there!" Xander exclaimed sitting down.

"Home?" I asked confused.

"Tyler used to cook for us when we lived together. He is the best cook ever."Jake's tone was filled with pride for his friend.

The more I knew about Tyler the more I felt jealous about him. He may not have his mom around but he has the most amazing dad and friends. I started to feel a bit guilty for lying to Tyler about me not being able to cook. Cooking was a memory I only shared with Mia and mom and I preferred to keep it that way. I opened the bottle and poured out the champagne for everyone and sat down.

I watched their playful banter and heard stories about Tyler and realized that he may not be as bad as I thought he was. All of a sudden Xander cried out in pain and I noticed Tyler glaring at him. "Hey!'' Xander pouts and then his expression changed into a smug one "I bet you are jealous that your girl likes me better." I blushed profusely at his comment. I looked down at my plate and realized that maybe Tyler wasn't as bad as I thought he would be. Maybe he is the one for me. I think I am falling for Tyler Allen Hemmings.
