The Guardians Of Aeristar Part Two

A War Beginning

We managed to get Reaper and The Midnight Wolf too The Guardians of Aeristar base, a facility on a mountaintop above Magnys. When we got there Reaper walked to his room and The Midnight Wolf sat down.

This was short-lived though because soon after we got to the base we heard a loud smash and saw a crimson tendril come flying through the window. I drew my swords and got ready for a fight, but then I saw the tendril pull back, we ran outside just to see Sting dive-bombing toward us with its fire wings out, fire swords pointed straight down towards us.

Luke Warm came outside and used his powers to move the fire wings causing Sting to fly off to the side, it caught itself and then shot a crimson beam like thing towards Luke Warm, “Heat, is forever. You were for now.” It said as the beam hit Luke Warm and lifted him into the air, once Luke Warm was up in the air I saw some strange red beam coming from him and going into Sting.

Luke Warm fell once the beam reached Sting and he tried to use his powers to throw Sting again, using the fire wings… but nothing happened… Sting held out its hand and shot a huge blast of fire at us, just before it hit us however some sort of giant rock wall came up out of the ground and blocked the fire.

Once the fire stopped the rock wall went down and we saw someone on some floating rock come up to us.

“It… it drained my powers.” Luke Warm said sounding scared.

“Indeed, power is pointless now,” Sting responded before flying off, seemingly just having come to make a point of some sort.

I saw a man in a cloak standing aiming some sort of laser at Sting as it was flying off just before a stone wall blocked his aim, the man from the rock got back on his and floated over to the cloaked individual and spoke, “What are you doing, do you want it to come back?”

“No, but I want to stop this war before it starts.” The cloaked man said.

“Whenever anyone tries to stop a war before it begins, people die, wait… did the lady tell you about the war too?” The rock man replied

“Yes, why else would I be here?” The cloaked individual said

“Okay whatever just come on.” The rock man said before walking back.

“What war are you all talking about? We heard it all, you werent that far away.” The Shadow Claw asked.

“The war that would end worlds, I saw it in my visions, you see, I am a watcher.” Some strange lady with weird glowing markings said as she walked up to us, “You will need all of the heroes you can get to defeat this menace, as it has the ability to drain your powers.”

“We noticed.” Luke Warm said seemingly annoyed he hadn't been warned ahead of time.

“I apologize but I needed to round up some assistance, without them you all wouldn't stand a chance.” The Watcher said.

“And who are you, ma’am?” Nate asked.

“I am Asha, I was born a Watcher, with the ability to see into key events in the future, with this ability I rounded up a team to help you fight this war and sent everyone over, because if my vision is fulfilled all of Earth and even the rest of the galaxy would be at risk, we need to handle this correctly or we will not have much time and we will fail.”

“Let's go, all of you, if a Watcher predicted it, then we need to get to work to fix that.” Luke Warm said and began to walk back inside of the building.
