The Guardians Of Aeristar Part Two

Abraxas Fallen

As we reached the moon city we saw Xantarnus get smaller and go down to the surface. We went to a landing pad and landed on it, we finally managed to escape the war. We got out of the ship to be greeted by Xantarnus, he motioned his hand and two guards went on the ship and unloaded the R34P3R robot.

“Feels good to be back.” Xantarnus said “Follow me, I will show you where we can operate at.”

We all followed him to some central tower in the city, he put his hand on a scanner and an elevator opened up. We walked inside and rode it up to the top. When we got off the elevator we saw some sort of high tech main control room.

“This is where we will be operating, I have an idea to defeat Abraxas,” Xantarnus said.

“Sir, you couldn’t mean.” Some random guy said seeming worried.

“Oh I do, grab him.” He responded and two guards grabbed The Wraith and put some strange device around his neck. “Don’t worry, it isn’t bad, it just hurts a lot, so we need to keep you from escaping using your powers.” 

“What are you doing?” Dynamo asked.

“We are making him better, you see you can’t kill a demon, the only way to truly defeat Abraxas would be to contain its power, we have a machine that can infuse someone with special powers by using the energy from a watcher, using the special powers he will be able to drain Abraxas’s energy, all we will need to do is get him close.”

“I saw this coming, I will get ready.” The Watcher responded and flew into the half of the machine The Wraith wasn’t in.

Xantarnus then went to some sort of console and turned on the machine.

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!” The Wraith screamed.

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH” The Watcher Responded

Lights began to turn green and when they were all green the machine opened and The Wraith flew out with some sort of black wings that somehow seemed to be glowing, weird.

The Watcher fell out onto the floor severely injured and I saw the markings on the side of her body disappear.

“Her powers have been granted to The Wraith, he can now drain the powers from any living creature he wants to, and demons, like Abraxas, now we just need to get him in close,” Xantarnus said.

“Then let's do it, he can still cloak so it shouldn't be hard to get near him,” Luke Warm said.

“It is not that simple, he needs to get to the neck and get his hand around it to drain energy from anything, we will need to defeat Abraxas before he can do it so that he will become normal human-sized,” Xantarnus said.

“What about the orbital shot?” A random soldier asked.

“We only have one shot every hundred years, if we miss this will all be over,” Xantarnus responded, just as he did the men who took R34P3R out of the ship came in and had a fully fixed and upgraded R34P3R system, Xantarnus then flew inside of it.

“Reaper is back baby!” He said and then went over to a control console.

“The orbital shot is charged, if we can get Abraxus to planet size again we can blast him before he can dodge. You all just need to get him large and launch this tracker torpedo onto him.” Reaper said as he handed me a large device.

“Got it,” I said and began to walk back to the ships, everyone began to follow me. 

We loaded the Torpedo into our cannon mounted on the front of the ship and got on and took off, just to see Abraxas trying to destroy the main planet of Necrophil, in an attempt to get rid of Necropolis, the name of the moon.

It was already planet-sized, but we can't fire it this close. We shot the tracker torpedo into him and he began to fly after us, He grabbed our ship just as I saw the Orbital Shot flying towards him, some huge energy ball. We all left through the airlock when it hit and went to the other ship. Well, almost all of us, The Wraith flew over to Abraxas who had shrunk and he grabbed his neck, but just before he could the tendril holding our ship slammed it into the one we went into, destroying both, The Midnight Wolf used his Osiris MK5 suit to create a bubble protecting me and Dynamo from suffocation. The Wraith seemed to be fine and formed some sort of shield out of crimson tendrils, he used his tendrils to grab us all and his wings to fly back to Necropolis. We got there and almost all of us were good, The Wraith, The Midnight Wolf, Dynamo, and I were all fine, Luke Warm, not so much. He had suffocated and died. We buried Luke Warm and had a funeral on Necropolis, our new home. We then went back to the tower and noticed it was heavily damaged from the sudden shake that the blast caused Reaper was okay but a big chunk of the population of the planet, we then noticed something wrong. Dynamo was starting to look pale, his eyes were beginning to go black and then he collapsed. 

“I guess that no-one can be rescued from death, congratulations, you temporarily saved me, but I guess it was just a burden on my body being in the world of the living again.” He said before closing his eyes and finally laying down for true rest.

“Do it Wraith, it is the only way to give him an end to his endless battle, drain his powers,” Reaper said and so he did.

The Wraith walked up to Luke Warm and Dynamo and drained their powers, powering him up.

“So this is it, it is finally time to go our separate ways,” Xantarnus said.

“If only that were true, I can promise you that we will come together again sooner or later,” I said.

“True, but for now, let us mourn our lost before our next mission.” The Wraith said.

“Agreed.” The Midnight Wolf responded and we all went our separate ways.

Reaper became president of Necropolis and began the reconstruction of the city.

The Wraith began to mourn his lost friends and felt even closer with them now that their powers were inside of him, he met up with The ExWatcher and began to work side by side with her for quite some time.

The Midnight Wolf and I took a ship and began to explore the galaxy, helping anyone or anything that needs it, we found a new home, one among the stars.
