2 years later !
Nikki's Pov
Life's been okay I guess ! My girls are 2 years old ! They love having John around so that stopped me from moving back to San Diego !
Me and Chad well we have a complicated on again off again relationship mostly off considering every time we have a fight he flys off to England and well John is always here to lend a hand he had been dating Eve for a year but they broke up and he's dated a few people but now he's single and says his main focus right now is the girls and his career I wish I could do the same ! And I should ! I think this is going to be the end of me and Chad but this time I'm serious ! Because today's argument just got me so mad I can't even begin to explain !
Chad: You know what I'm done !
Nikki: Fine I'm done too
She said heading out of the house ! And Chad following !
Chad: I'm going back to England !
Nikki: Good ! And you know what !
Chad: What ?
Nikki: This time stay there I'll have your things shipped back !
Chad got into his car and left !
Lucky for Nikki, John just came over to pick up the girls !
John: Hey are you okay ?
Nikki: No
She said as she broke down and collapsed crying on the floor and he ran over to hug her !
Nikki: I'm sorry the girls are still sleeping do you want to come in for some coffee ?
She said wiping away the tears !
John: Sure !!
They go into the kitchen and they drink coffee in silence until John decided to break it !
John: If you don't mind me asking what happened ?
Nikki: I honestly don't even know ! We have just been fighting so much lately and I'm so tired of it because this not the man I fell in love with ! I don't know who he is anymore ! He's not the guy I met 3 years ago when I was pregnant and the man who said he would always be here for me !
John: I'm sorry but people change !
Nikki: I know I just wish he didn't ! But I'm over it ! I'm going to send his things to England and I hope to not see him for a long time !
John: Well when you guys break up he leaves for a month then comes back and make up so you have a month !
Nikki: Umm no this time I'm serious were done ! I'm done ! This isn't a good environment for the girls I feel like when they walk into the room I have to smile even after Chad and I had a huge argument ! I want to be genuinely happy around them I also have to make sure to keep quiet when I just want to yell ! I'm done stepping on egg shells and I'm done with Chad !
John: Are you sure ?
Nikki: I'm positive look I'm even taking off my engagement ring !
John then spit out his coffee and started chocking Nikki quickly ran over to pay his back !
Nikki: Are you okay ?
John: Yeah I'm fine but, when did you get engaged ?
Nikki: Oh last weekend you know how you took the girls for that long weekend since you didn't have to be on Raw ! So me and Chad went to Athens !
John: He proposed in Athens ?
Nikki: Yeah ! Oh see now I remember why we started fighting !
John: Why ?
Nikki: Because I didn't tell people yet ! And I didn't want to for a while longer !
John: Why ?
Nikki: Because as soon as he asked me to marry him I said yes but then I started putting together in my head this picture perfect wedding and I would always see someone else at the altar waiting for me never Chad so I was holding off making the announcement until I knew for sure if Chad was the man I wanted to marry !
John: Who did you see at the end of that altar !
Nikki: Honestly...
John: Yes you can trust me I won't tell anyone !
Nikki: I know you won't it's just that...
John: What Nicole just tell me !
Nikki: It was you ! I saw you at the end of the altar with Gio and Maddie in their pink and red dresses standing there with their flowers because they were the flower girls and then you in a black tux with a red tie as I walk down the aisle with my dad in my dress with red roses in hand ! All of our friends and family ! And I guess I saw Chad there but as a guest never as the man I was going to marry !
By that point they were holding hangs and leaning in when Gio came down and there was a knock on the door !
Gio: Daddy !
John: Hi princess !
Nikki: I'm going to see who's here !
She walks away and opens the door
Nikki: Hey what's up ?
Wade: That's what I want to know !
Nikki: Come in !
He walks in
Wade: Whats up with Chad coming to my house telling me to talk some sense into you then left to England ?
Nikki: We broke up !
Wade: Oh so he will be back in a month ?
Nikki: No this time I'm done ! I'm just done !
Wade: Are you serious ?
Nikki: Yes I'm going to go buy boxes pack up his stuff and the engagement ring and I'm sending it back to England !
Wade: Wow you're serious !
Then Maddie came down !
Maddie: Mommy I don't feel good !
Nikki: What wrong baby ?
Maddie: I don't know !
Nikki walks over to her and feels her
Nikki: Oh baby your burning up let's get you back to bed ! John !!
She yelled out ! And he came from the kitchen !
John: Yeah
Nikki: Maddie has a fever can you get my the first aid kid it's in the bathroom under the sink !
John: Yeah ! Hey Wade !
Wade: Hey you go on up I'll play Giovanna !
John: Thank you !
They head up stairs !
Nikki: Oh baby you have a really high fever !
Maddie: Can I sleep ?
Nikki: Yeah it's fine ! Here just drink this !
She said giving her medicine
John: If you need anything just call us !
Maddie: Okay ! I love you mommy and daddy !
Nikki: We love you to princess now come on just get some sleep !
They kiss her and they leave the room !
Nikki: Do you want to just take Gio with you this weekend and I'll keep Maddie and I'll take care of her ?
John: If you don't mind if I stay here so I can take care of both of them and you can handle whatever you need to do ?
Nikki: Really ?
John: If you don't mind if you want I can move them to my house ?
Nikki: No it's fine you guys can stay here we can count this as a family bonding time !
John: Great !
Nikki: I'll be back I'm just going to go buy some boxes !
John: That's fine !
Nikki: Thank you ! I know I must not say it a lot but really thank you for being here for the girls and for me it means a lot !
John: The girls is no problem ! And well I'd do anything for you !
She smiled and kissed his cheeks and leaves..........
