"special agent bright, this report is damning. you ignored protocol, intimidated everyone who said no to you, and pissed off every cop between here and tennessee."
malcom chuckles softly but its more of a sarcastic chuckle
"all in all, that's like four good cops so"
"we have a sign-off from doj. you're fired"

malcom started to clench his fist like he does when someone starts to bring up his father.
" just so you know, the surgeon, he's not a psychopath, he's a predatory sociopath. not that you should know the difference, it's only your job!"
malcom was pissed. how dare they fire him, especially after he saved those people. how dare they compare him to his father.
"before you call someone crazy, make sure you ask for their gun first"
he slams his gun and badge on the table and walks out the room very pissed and just in dire need to get to the love of his life and make sure that she's okay.

the way he was upset about getting fired hurt me. he loved his job more than anything else. i know how bad he wanted to catch people like his father.
