2nd person POV

It was a few days after you and your comrades had ended the hostage at White House. But the vice-president was now missing for two days. And you guys were helping finding him.
Meanwhile most of the heads of states hesitated with any replies to the message of the US-president. God knows for what reasons.
So Winston kept the location of the base still secret but maybe that wasn't so bad.

(A/N): Of course that's not bad, that's ironic.

After you had spent some time on that task you switched to something you enjoyed pretty much: Nothing. You leaned back in your seat and closed your eyes and enjoyed the silence that was rare enough.

But suddenly, you got a message from Winston.

"You better come to the meeting room because I have some bad news." he said.

In the meeting room...

When Winston began he seemed a bit stressed out.

"Ok so, the good news is we know where 'he' is. The bad news is the world knows it too."

And then he started a video with a message of 'him' with a plain background.

"Many of you may know me as the vice-president of the United States, Jack Dunbraith. (Sorry, had to come up with a name.)
For years, the Omnics have been suppressed and discriminated. They built up our world and as thanks they were excluded. It's time to change that. But there are more. More humans and Omnics than you could ever imagine. Soon, we will rise and we will sent a message to this world: That justice will prevail in the end." and with that, the message ended.

"Until now, nothing has come of what he has announced. Just the usual stuff. There are news of an incident in Dorado, Mexico. Jack, you, Pharah and Reinhardt should be enough to check it out." Winston instructed. It was nice to know that this family was nearly complete. And that was what got you down.

Late afternoon

Tracer POV

It was now a few hours ago since (F/N) had been seen the last time. And I started to worry about him. He was a good friend and he was more of the social guy so it was kinda strange not to have seen him. So I went on a whim in the direction of the roof. It was a nice place because you could see almost everything
from there.
When I stepped out onto the roof and turned around a corner I found him.

(F/N) sat at the edge of the roof and looked like he was depressed which wasn't new but this time it seemed different.
There was a stereo beside him. When I took a few steps towards him he pressed a button on the stereo and played a song.

It nearly broke my heart to see him so lost and broken

"I don't know if I will be okay."

I looked up at him. Did he mean me? He looked into the distance so he couldn't know I was there. Or maybe yes?

"I know you're there. You're not very good at stalking." he said.

So yes, he could. I walked up to him and seated myself beside him. He was silent which didn't happen often.

"Why are you still looking for a way back home? I thought you had resigned yourself to your fate?" I asked him.

There was it again. The silence. The silence and (F/N)'s cold aura.
