The One That Got Away

He is gentlemen, He makes me feel that I am worthy of respect
He is selfless, He help people without hesitation
The way he laughs makes me smile
The way he talks gives me butterflies
I just really enjoy being around him
His personality stands out
Talking to him makes everything feel lighter

But sometimes I wonder how I feel about him,
Scared of this feelings because it's still new
I even lied to myself  and convinced myself
that I don't have feelings for him
but I always think about him

Honestly, I never knew that I'd end up liking him this much
I'm the person who is hard to love but suddenly I fell inlove with him.
I am just a friend and I know this is not right.
I have to stop liking him because I know he will never feel the same way
