Y/N: Let's start from the top shall we?

~Flashback~

Y/N: Finally. I can play Sword Art Online!
I plug in my NerveGear and place it on my head, laying comfortably on my bed before saying the magic words.
Y/N: Link start!
Everything became dark before a screen popped up. 'Please enter player name' so I entered P/N (player name) and was moved to a character customization. I just made them look like you. I was then transported to a town.
Y/N: Feels good to be back since the beta test.
I look in my inventory and realize I have some Col, I guess a present from being in the beta test.
Y/N: Now here's the real question, what weapon do I pick?
I go to a weapon trader and browse the options before selecting a very heavy two handed blade. The silver blade had golden letters etched into it reading 'Bass' so that's what I decided to call my sword.

~Flashback End~

Y/N: You know the rest. Except for the part where my sister died...
I look down, feeling sad that I brought it up. I just slip my helmet back on, starting to walk away.
Leafa: Wait! Where are you going?
She grabbed my arm. I shook out of her grip and activated my wings.
Y/N: I'm going to be alone.
I took off and started flying as Leafa started to follow me.
Leafa: Y/N! Wait!
I dived down into the woods and used cloaking magic to hide myself in the shadows of the trees. I sit still and silent as I watch Leafa walk around, still calling my name. She then sighs and flies away. I reveal myself and sigh in relief as I sit down under the tree. I can still remember that moment clearly...

~Flashback~

The room turned red as a trap was set off.
Y/N: Crap. Sachi, why did we let the quest NPCs auto-loot? Why did you set them to auto-loot in the first place?
Sachi: I thought it would save time...
I sigh and pull Bass off my back.
Y/N: I'll hold them back. Try the teleport crystals!
Kirito holds his up and yells to be teleported outside the dungeon. Nothing happens.
Kirito: Something's interfering with them!
Y/N: Then I guess the only way out is to fight. Sachi, stay behind me.
She steps behind me as golems and dwarves approach us. A golem swings its arm at me but I back it away with my sword and smash the golem to pieces. I slam Bass down on a dwarf and decapitate it in one solid swing.
Y/N: They keep spawning!
I keep slashing until the room is clear. Sachi turns to me, smiling.
Sachi: We did it! We're really okay! We're gonna li-
Out of nowhere, a scythe blade pierces Sachi, making her drop to the floor. I don't notice at first until I see her fall.
Y/N: SACHI!
I grab her before she hits the ground as I start crying.
Y/N: Sachi... don't go... please...
She reaches up and rubs my cheek, smiling.
Sachi: Y/N, this isn't your fault. Just... promise to keep living for me, ok?
She smiles brightly before going limp and turning shattering into crystals. My eyes turn a blood red as I stand up. Not only did my eyes turn red. All I can see is red. I turn to the direction where the scythe came from. My blood goes cold as I stare into the face of death as the room turns from red to a deep purple. The boss' name appears... 'The Grim Reaper'. It's scythe glows purple before it floats back, then launching an x shape at me. I'm paralyzed as I just stare. I'm snapped out when Kirito pushes me out of the way. I stand up, laughing maniacally.
Y/N: *laughs* you think the literal embodiment of death scares me? Well... let me tell you. You're dead wrong.
My sword glows green before I scream out
Y/N: WIND BUSTER
A huge tornado is sent at the boss, knocking down three bars of its health. It tries to slash me but I knock the scythe out of its hands before I slash the boss over and over, not even realizing that I'm holding the two-handed sword with one hand. The boss shatters into pieces as I slump to the floor.

~Flashback End~

Even though I got a unique sword skill, Sachi was still dead. I don't wanna remember that. Why is it so painful to remember? I should've protected her better. It's all my fault.
Y/N: IT'S ALL MY FAULT!
The tears just start flowing and show no chance of stopping. She was all I had in life. Now I have nobody. My life is just pointless. I'm surprised that I haven't ended it already. I sigh and stand up before flying off towards Spriggan territory.
