Will's POVThe next morning I woke up to the blinding sunlight which was coming through the window. I blinked my eyes a few times to adjust them, and that's when I noticed the weight that was on my chest. I looked down at it and my heart skipped a beat when I saw what it was.
It was Bailey and her head was laying on my chest. I couldn't help the smile that spread across my face. She was so beautiful. I didn't want to get out of bed, but I knew I had to as soon as I felt my stomach.
I know Bailey should be just as hungry as me, considering the fact that we didn't eat dinner. I didn't wake her up, but I also didn't want to leave her. Just like how right now I would do anything just to be able to stay in bed with her but I know I can't. Her health is more important than my comfort.
I slowly get out of bed and swap my chest to a pillow. I walk out of the bedroom, but not before taking another look at the goddess that was lying on the bed.
I walk out of the door and get hit with the smell of cooked food. I walk into the kitchen and see Charlotte cooking food, while her husband and son are sitting on the couch watching T.V. I walk into the and she must have heard me because she looks at me and smiles.
"Well, good morning."
"Good morning. I was just coming in here to make food for Bailey and me, but I see that you beat me to it. Do you need any help?"
"Yes, if you don't mind. Do you know how to cook bacon?"
"Yeah," I say and walk over to the fridge. I pull out the bacon and turn the stove on.
"Um, where are the pans," I ask.
"Oh, in that cabinet right there," she says and points to a low one.
Just as I'm about to bend down and get it I hear a scream. I knew it was Bailey's automatically, so as soon as I did hear as was running back to the room.
What I saw broke my heart. I could she was still asleep because her eyes were closed, but she was thrashing everywhere and screaming and crying.
"Please, daddy. Stop hurting me," she begged.
I didn't know what to do, so I just hopped on the bed. I tried to comfort her but it wasn't working. So I then tried to wake her up. I know you're not supposed to wake someone up if they're having a night terror, but I couldn't stand to see her like that anymore.
"Hey Bailey. I need you to wake up for me," I say as I shake her shoulders a little bit. She still isn't waking up.
"Come on Bailey," I beg and then hear a cry behind me. I look up and see Charlotte crying into her husbands shoulder as he is rubbing her back.
"Pl-Please stop," she cries out. At this point she is having an asthma attack and I don't know what to do.
"Please wake up for me, baby," I beg and feel my eyes starting to flood with tears.
Before I can do anything else, she sits up with wide eyes. She looks confused at first but then looks at me. I was so relieved that she woke up that I didn't realize a tear had escaped my eye.
"Please don't cry," she says and wiping away my fallen tear. I don't know why, but as soon as I felt her hand on my cheek I grabbed her and leaned into her hand.
"It hurts my heart that even though she just went through all of that, she is still worried about the fact that I'm crying.
"Don't worry about me, baby."
"What's wrong with her," I hear Charlotte's son ask. It takes everything in me not to get up and kick his ass. The only reason I stop myself is because I know if I do then I most likely will not be welcomed here anymore.
