You were running through the forest as fast as you could, not sure where you were running or what you were running from. "Hey wait up will ya!" A voice from behind you called out. "Please stop running we just want to talk!" A slightly deeper voice called out.

You kept running, your lungs burned from forcing yourself to breath and your legs felt weak. Your vission started getting blurry as you ran and you had lost all sence of direction.

Your body collapsed. You felt your body fall and hit the ground.

Rogues P.O.V-

I ran after the girl as fast as I could. As she was running she collapsed. "Sting over hear!" I call out to my partner. "Did she stop?!?" He called out running towards me. "She collapsed while running...wait...she smells like a dragon slayer" I say as I look at her. "Well what are you waiting for? She might be hurt, come on we gotta get her to the guild hall!"

Normal P.O.V-

Rogue nodded and carefully picked you up bridal style and carried you out of the forest and they made their journey back to their guild hall. (this is after the Sports Festival when Sting becomes Master).

When they got to the guild and walked in, all eyes were on the duo. Their jaws dropped as they saw Rogue carrying your smaller figure in his arms. "Rogue who's that?" Yukino said walking over to him. "Im...not sure honestly. We found her in the East Forest and when we tried to approach her she ran and passed out so we brought her with us."

Rogue carried you up to the Sabertooth guilds infirmary. Once he left Yukino came in and cleaned your cuts and bandaged them, and changed you out of the ripped and tattered dress you had on and put you in something more comfortable. She left the room after she finished.

You woke up 3 hours later and sat up rubbing your eyes. You looked around the room confused. 'Where am I?' You thought as you carefully got up and stood up. Just then the door opened. "Oh your awake! I'm so glad your ok" a girl with white hair said as she walked in. "Who are you and where are we?" You say looking at her. "My names Yukino and your in the Sabertooth guilds infirmary. Two of our members found you hurt in the East Forest." She said. "I see..."

After she explained what had happened she brought you into the guild hall. "Rogue shes awake now"

Rogue's P.O.V-

"Rogue shes awake now" Yukino said walking over to me and Frosh. I look over to see a girl with (H/L) (H/C) and (E/C) eyes, standing behind Yukino. "Hello my name is Rogue Cheney." I say walking over to her. "Hi my names (Y/N)." She said standing up straight.

Normal P.O.V-

"Rose wanna join the Sabertooth guild?" Sting asked you, breaking the silence. "How do you join?" You say tearing your eyes from Rogue to look at him. "Well first things first, you gotta get your guild mark, Yukino could you help her with that?" "Yes of course, (Y/N) could you come with me?" She said walking towards a bar like area. You follow her and watch as she pulls out a small box. She takes a stamping lacrama from it. "Where would you like your mark to be, and what color would you like it to be?" She asked. "Could I get a (F/C) mark on my (B/P) please?" You say moving so she could stamp you. She nods and carefully places the stamp against your skin leaving the Sabertooth insignia in its place.

[Time Skip]

You had been a part of the Sabertooth guild for almost 2 years and had grown really close to Sting, Lector, Rogue, Frosh and Yukino. You were friends with the others but you weren't as close.

You were sitting at a table with Sting, Rogue, Yukino and the Exceeds, listening to Sting complaining about people calling him master. "I'm gonna go get some water" you say standing up. They watch you as you walk towards the bar. "Beautiful" Rogue whispers under his breath. Unfortunately for him Sting was able to hear him. "Rogue likes (Y/N)" He said in a teasing voice. "I think so too" the little green Exceed in the pink frog costume said. "I do not and will not like her. Be quiet!" He hissed at Sting.

Those words hurt. Because of your great hearing you were able to hear their conversation. Throughout the time you had been apart of the guild you had grown feelings for the Shadow Dragon Slayer, though you wouldn't admit it. Hearing him say that felt like a knife to the heart.

You slowly walked back to the table not making eye contact with anyone, which was strange for you. "(Y/N) are you ok, your being kind of quiet" Yukino said with a look of concern. "I'm fine...im... gonna take a solo job, bye guys" you say walking towards the request board. You grab a simple monster hunting job for 50,000 jewel. You waved 1 last time before walking out of the doors. Your table watched in confusion as you left without them.

That was about 3 weeks ago that you left. No one had heard from you since you left. They were really worried, especially Rogue. "Sting come on we have to go look for her!" Rogue said to him. "Listen Rogue, (Y/N) is strong she can handle herself!" He said trying to convince Rogue and himself of that fact. "The job she took shouldn't have taken more then a week to do but shes been gone for over a month!" He argued back. Just then the door of the guild slowly opened.

Rogue looked over, relieved to see your figure standing in the doorway. That relief turned to pure horror as a figure appeared behind you as you 'walked' further in. A tall slender but muscular male was carrying you by the neck with an insane grin.

Your body was covered in cuts and bruises and you weren't moving. Your eyes were half closed. "The little brat just didn't want to listen. She kept going on and on about how her friends would come for her. I kept telling her they wouldn't even care if she disappeared, and it look like I was right." He laughs as he drops your body to the hard concrete floor.

He turned away but before he could even take a step he was blasted into the wall by the Shadow dragon slayer. He was then drug back into the guild hall where the rest of your team beat the man. Rogue picked up your tattered body and carried you up to the infirmary.

After you were healed you were left in a room by your self. You woke up a few hours later and sat on the bed. The door slowly opens and someone walks in. "Are you finally going to kill me today?" You asked sitting up, hopeing to finally die and end the tortur. "What? No, (Y/N) it's me, Rogue, from Sabertooth" he said fully walking into the room. You look up seeing him. "Y-you came...I knew you would come find me!" You say and stand up to walk to him, but collapse the second your feet hit the floor. Before you hit the ground, Rogue quickly catches you.

"(Y/N) are you ok?!?" He asks picking you up bridal style and setting you back onto the bed. "I-im ok...hey Rogue...?" "Yeah?" He asks looking at you. "I'm sorry for leaving..." you say not making eye contact with the Shadow dragon slayer. "No, I'm sorry. I should have come with you...Yukino told me why you were upset after you left..." He said looking away himself. You tense up. "Rogue...I understand that you dont feel the same but...can we at least stay friends...and teammates?"

You hear Rogue laughing quietly. You feel tears welling in your eyes. You knew he'd reject you but you didn't think he would laugh at you.

He wipes his eyes and looks at you. "I'm sorry (Y/N), I dont mean to laugh but it's funny that you haven't realized that I love you by now" he said smiling slightly. You froze, trying to process what he said. You smile and pull him into a hug. He hugs back. He pulls away from the hug and cups your cheek. He carefully closes the gap between you and him and presses your lips to his.
