Sawamura Daichi (Haikyuu!!)

You sat silently under a tree carefully finishing your drawing. So focused in your drawing you hadn't noticed a group of girls making their way toward you. You were adding the final touches to it when it was suddenly snatched from your grip.

"Well, well, well, looks like little (Y/N) has a crush." The leader of the group sneered looking at the picture of the karasuno boys Volleyball team Captain, that you subconsciously drew.

"Laya please give that back..." you say quietly. "Did I say you could talk?" She said looking at you in disgust. You look down at the ground until you hear the sound of paper being riped, causing you to immediately look up. Laya grasped the two ripped pieces of of paper in her hands, ripping then even more. She laughed as the shreds of paper fell, hitting the ground.

She and her group of friends walk away laughing as you shakily grab the pieces of paper holding them together. You could no longer see the details you had just previously added.

You feel someones eyes watching you and quickly look around, not seeing anyone. The last bell if the day rings and you grab your things, qickly leaving the classroom.

The next day you walk into your class surprised to see the principal waiting with the group of girls from the previous day.

"Mrs.(L/N) *last name*, could I have a word with you?" He says as you walk in. You nod and tighten your grip on your bag.

"Mr. Sawamura made a complaint yesterday about a bullying insident that took place." He said glancing at the girls who scowled back.

"I simply need to to confirm his story and they will be suspended." He said looking at you. 'Suspended. As in they'll be back' you think to yourself.

"No. The story was false. Sorry to waste your time with this." You say bowing. The girls smirk as the principal stands up.

"I see. Thank you for your honesty." He said walking out of the classroom.

At the end of the day you were grabbing your things to leave when you felt someone grab your arm. You turn around to see Daichi Sawamura looking at you with an angry expression.

"Why did you tell him it wasn't true?" He demanded. "You...were you the one who reported them?" You asked looking down. "I was. I saw what they did so why? Why did you deny it?!"

You flinch at his harsh tone as he tightens his grip on your wrist. He notices and lets your wrist go. "If they would have been suspended, they would come back and nothing would change." You say quietly.

You start shaking slightly when you suddenly feel strong arms wrap around your body. "Let me stop them then." He said holding you close. "Why do you care about me at all Daichi? Its not like I'm anything special."

"You're wrong. You're so wrong. You may not feel special, but you are to me." He says looking down at you. "Why? I've never done anything worth noticing." You say looking away from him.

"Do you really think I don't notice you? You've came to every one of our games, and after the Seijo match you left that letter in my locker. You've done plenty just by cheering me and the team on."

"W-wait how did you know I left the letter?!" You ask confused. He laughs slightly. "I was in the office running an errand for the teacher and I saw it on the security camera screen thing."

"Listen (Y/N), I know this is awful timing but, I really like you. I want to help you get rid of those bullies too. If you'll let me."
