Laxus Dreyar (Fairy Tail)

It was cold out. You were walking back home through the snow. You had on a small jacket and a pair of jeans. You live in a small apartment on the other side of town because Fairy Meadows was to crowded for your liking. As your walking you feel something warm wrap around you. You look up to see Laxus walking next to you without his signature coat on.

"Laxus? What are you doing out in this weather?" You ask looking at him. "I should be asking you that idiot." He said disregarding the question. "I'm walking home and this is the way to get home." You say snuggling into the jacket. "Well its a good thing I did come out. You'd be a human popsicle by morning if it weren't for me, especially in that outfit of yours" he said looking at the small jacket you had on. "Like you can talk Mr. T-shirt" you say smiling at him. He rolls his eyes and looks back up.

Once you get to your house its a lot darker out. "Laxus do you want to stay at my place for tonight? Its a lot darker out and its getting colder." You say unlocking your door. "Nah I'll be ok-" he stops as it starts snowing a lot harder. "On second thought maybe I will stay here tonight..." he said walking to the door.

You happily let him into the warm house. "You can have the bed, I'll take the couch" you say taking your boots off. "Nah you take the bed." He said doing the same. "Laxus, you take the bed. As the guest you get the bed" you say standing up. "Im going to go get changed and if I come out and your on the couch I will drag you up the stairs by your feet to the room" you say heading towards the bathroom.

He grumbles and grabs a blanket from your room and lays on the couch. "She can try but there's no way shes gonna be able to 'drag' me anywhere." He said pulling the blanket over his body.

You walk out of the bathroom moments later and sigh as you see him laying on the couch. He smirks as you walk over to him. "Laxus what was our deal?" You say looking at him. "Yeah about that, I desided against it. Its not like your strong enough to actually drag me so I think I'm ok" as soon as he said that you grabbed his arm and easily pulled him off the couch and headed towards the stairs.

Laxus was to surprised to react to you pulling him. Once you get to the top of the stairs you let him go. "Now, are you going to go to the room and lay on the bed or do I have to drag you in there too?" you ask looking at him. He grumbles and stands up straight. "Fine I'll get in the bed but you have'ta get in the bed too" he said looking at you. "Wait you mean...us sleep in the same bed??" You ask with a red tint rising to your cheeks.

"Yeah. It's not like im gonna do anything to ya, besides if you decline I'll go right back down to the couch." He said looking at you smiling deviously.

"Fine. The room is this way" you say sighing, nowing that you couldn't drag him up the stairs again. He follows you to a room at the end of the hall.

You climb into one side of the bed and Laxus gets on the other side. Throughout the night, you got really cold. There was a welcoming warmth on the other side of the bed so you immediately moved closer to it and drifted back to sleep.

The next morning you woke up and tried to sit up, only to be met with strong arms pulling you back down. She looked down and saw a still sleeping Laxus Dreyar under you.

You frantically looked around and sighed in relief that you were both still fully dresses. You try to pull out of his hold but he squeezes tighter. Only then did you notice a small smile gracing his lips. "Laxus...are you awake?" You ask quietly. He didn't respond so you sigh and placed your head back on his chest. "How do you expect me to hear you if you're that quiet?"

You jumped up in surprise. "L-Laxus I thought you were asleep!" He laughs at your flusteres expression. "I've been up for a bit actually. You were just holding on so tight I felt bad for moving"

You both sat there for a few awkward moments before you spoke up. "Um...Laxus, your arms..." you say looking down at his arms still securely wrapped around you. He looks down and chuckles. "What if I want to stay like this? Your pretty warm to be honest"

Your face explodes in red. "Laxus I have to take a shower" You say pushing against his chest. "Mind if I join you?" He says getting closer. You panic and wiggle out of his grasp, standing up. A dark blush covering your cheeks.

"I'll take that as a no then." He says teasingly. "Its definitely a no. I'll be right back." You say grabbing your clothes and rushing to the bathroom.

A while later you walk back out of the bathroom and to the living room where Laxus was waiting for you. "Hey are you ready to head to the guild?" You ask grabbing your shoes. "Yeah I've been ready for more thwn half an hour."

The two of you walk out of your house. You sigh at the deep snow covering the ground. "Oh yeah I forgot it snowed last night..." Laxus says unfazed by it. "It's really pretty but really cold."

You both continue to the guild in silence as snow starts slowly falling yet again.
