Memory 1
——————————————————————————
It was a bright sunny day, I woke up to the smell of breakfast being made. I got up and stretched and put on some nice clothes. I headed downstairs and passed through the kitchen and saw my wife making breakfast, "Good morning Will." She said. "Good morning Olivia." I replied back as I headed into the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and washed my face, then opened the medicine cabinet. I reached for my prescription medication but hesitated before grabbed them. "I hate taking my medication..." I said as I grabbed the bottle and poured it two pills. I filled a glass of water and took them both at the same time. I closed the cabinet and walked back out to the kitchen. "I made pancakes if you want some." Olivia said as she set down four plates. "I might eat..." I said as I headed over to the coat rack. "Will it seems you never eat! Or at least never eat when I cook, why's that?" I picked up my jacket, "I'm not really hungry" I shrugged, "and besides... never mind..." My voice trailed off. Michael and Elizabeth came downstairs and sat at the table. "Never mind what?" Olivia said as she put the pancakes down on the table. "Nothing, nothing..." I said I was about to head out the front door. "Is it something you don't want to say in front of the kids?" She said lowering her voice a little. I nodded. Olivia turned to Michael and Elizabeth and said she'd be right back, then headed towards me. "Alright, now what is the reason you hardly eat when I cook." She questioned. "I'm afraid you're going to poison me..." she looked at me confused then wrapped me in a hug, but I pushed her away. "Come on now William, why would I try and poison you?" "I think you can guess why." She sighed, "William, just because you've hit me on more than one occasion doesn't mean I'd try to poison you." She put her hands on her hips. "Well if I were in your shoes I'd try and poison me." I replied solemnly. She shook her head, "You worry me sometimes Will." "Why?" "Because, one minute you're happy, then if you're in a bad mood, any little thing can get under your skin. Or if you're upset... I've seen what you've tried to do..." she looked at me with a sorrowed expression, "I don't understand sometimes how you deal with everything." "I'm fine..." I said. Olivia hugged me again, but I didn't push her away. "Well, I'd better get going..." I stepped out the front door and heard Olivia call, "I love you Will, be careful!" I got to my car and sat down in the drivers side, "Be careful..." I mocked in her voice. "I don't know what that woman thinks I'm going to do..." I started my car and drove down the road into the city. I pulled into the parking lot of my restaurant called Circus Baby's Pizza world. I got out of my car and headed inside and saw my partner Vincent working on one of the animatronics. I walked past Vincent and he turned around, "William I almost didn't even hear you!" I smiled. "Well anyway good morning." Vincent said hopping down off the stage. "Yeah, good morning. I replied. "I was trying to work out that bug in the animatronic, but it's really hard not even knowing how these things were out together..." I nodded and kept heading for the back room. "William, why won't you let me see the blueprints?" Vincent asked. I stopped in front of the door to the parts and service, "Vincent I've already told you before, you're not seeing those blueprints... I have no reasoning other than I don't want you too! Besides this is my company, and I'll do what I want with my blueprints!" Vincent backed up a little. I glared at him, "S-sorry William I just want to help, but it's really hard without those blueprints, I don't want to break them and-." I cut Vincent off, "Then don't touch them!" I snapped. "Sorry..." Vincent apologized again, and then walked off back to the stage. I headed into the parts and service and grabbed my tool box and headed back out to where Vincent was. Vincent was sitting in the rows of chairs staring at the animatronic. I opened its faceplates and turned back to Vincent, "What's this glitch that you're talking about?" I asked. "Well some of the other staff has reported this particular animatronic to have a tendency of dropping the ice cream and-" I closed the faceplates and opened the chest cavity and stepped aside as a giant metal claw extended and then retreat back inside. I turned back to Vincent, "You may continue..." "H-how did you know to dodge that...?" Vincent asked. "Is that the glitch you were talking about?" I said avoiding his question. Vincent nodded‍. "That's not a glitch, it's supposed to do that..." Vincent looked at me confused. "Oh... ok?" I shut the chest cavity and picked up my tool box and carried it back to the parts and service. "Well then, this place is finished. We can open up tomorrow." I set my tool box down checking to make sure everything was in order. "I've heard a lot of people talking about this place, we should get a lot of guests tomorrow." I nodded while closing my tool box, "Could you do me a favor Vincent?" "Sure, what is it?" "Could you call the advertising company and tell them that they can push out the release date?" "Of course." "Thank you Vincent." I shook his hand, "You can have the rest of the day off." I said to him, and then we both left.
