Chapter 6

'Carly's Pov'

I woke up and felt arms around me and remembered I was cuddled with Lauren, I look to see if she's awake and it doesn't seem like she is so I try to climb out of her grasp without waking her up but I get tugged tighter into her if that's even possible. "5 More minutes you're very warm and cuddly" she says while yawning, I giggle a little and sink into her, about 5 minutes later she grabs me and picks me up without me knowing and starts to run into Dinah's room.

"Lolo where are we going?" I try to say while bouncing up and down and before I know it I was thrown into the bed in-between Dinah and Lauren.

"What was that for?" I ask her while still laughing.

"None of us can ever wake her up, you try." she smirks.

Well Dinah's laying with her stomach facing down so I crawl onto her back and hug her while whisper in her ear "Diwnah can wou pwease wake uwp?" in my cutest baby voice and instantly she jerks up turns around and pulls me into a bone-crushing hug.

"That.was.the.cutest.thing.i've.ever.heard.in.my.life!" Dinah squeals, while Lauren's face looks like she just saw a puppy yawning.

"No one has ever in the history of morning woken Dinah up that fast, you my baby are a prodigy!" Lauren yells while spinning me around. Then Ally yells for breakfast and we all head downstairs, while we sit down to eat the rest of the girls give me good morning hugs and we decide what to do today. I have dance at night again so we decide to stay home, play outside, and go swimming. Oh no wait.. swimming! My mom was never home so I never learned how to swim, I can't go swimming I need to think of an excuse.

"Carly hey we've been trying to get your attention for like five minutes." Normani laughs.

"Oh whoops sorry." I say while laughing.

"Let's go change into our swimsuits, and head to the pool now guys it's a beautiful day out!" Camila yells.

"Oh um I don't have a bathing suit, I outgrew them but I can still watch it'll totally be okay." I say as I try to blow it off like its nothing but they won't take it so Camila and Lauren decide to run to the store to get one while the rest of the girls get the pool and some snacks all ready. I decide to stay home because if they get the wrong size then I won't be able to swim, am I right or am I right.

About a half hour later all the food is set up on the table outside and the other girls just got home with two huge bags of stuff. "Why do you have so many bags?" I asked them while the girls agree.

"Because if one size didn't fit we got a couple AND we saw some other really cute outfits we couldn't help but get for you!" Lauren said while jumping up and down with Camila excitedly. Camila grabs my hand and pulls me upstairs into my room and shuts the door, she grabs a bag and pulls out a bathing suit. "I picked this one out because it's so adorable and I love it!" She thrusts it at me and tells me to go change, {picture above}. Eventually they all headed downstairs while I followed then halfway down made a beeline to my room and shut the door while grabbing my book, not even halfway through Ally walked in. "Sweetie what wrong, you know you can talk to me right?" she said gently. I tried to explain but I couldn't get the words to come out of my mouth but I think she understood what I was gonna say because she grabbed my hand and pulled me downstairs where all the irks were, she gave a slight nod to Normani then she pulled out a bag.

"Just so you know, we all knew you couldn't swim because that's something your mom mentioned to us. We got these for you, well they did, so you can swim!" she stated. Normani pulled out floaties and inflated them and slipped them on my arms. Then Camila picked me up and started walking towards the pool and I was freaking out and got really tense and I guess she noticed because she stopped walking and looked me in the eyes and said "I won't let anything happen to you, I won't let you go unless you want me too and I wouldn't do this is I didn't think you couldn't handle it okay, I'll keep you safe!" and with that she walked us into the pool.

Eventually I got used to how the floaties work and we were having so much fun with water guns and chicken fights, I never knew how much fun pools can be! Of coarse the whole time the girls were being their overprotective selves but that's okay. Soon it was time to get out and we all dried out and promised we would go again soon, I've never had that much fun before with anyone. They're like my family, no they ARE my family.
