You will need bravery,
To stop all bullying,
And we have to help those,
Who don't know what they are doing.
It seems just like joke,
But you don't know if a heart you will break,
Reflect on what you do,
It is time we all wake,
It could be just for a second,
Or it even might be long,
Whatever it is,
Bullying will always be wrong.
Haven't you realized?
Deep inside we have voices,
You can run away, or face bullying,
These are the two choices.
We just need to speak out,
There's nothing we lack,
Bring light over this dark,
Don't hold back.
We together can change,
So just, don't wait,
To change this unfairness,
Because it's not too late.

Author's note:
I was in year 9 when I wrote this - probably around 13 years old. I was looking at previous pieces that I wrote over the years and this one is special to me because I remember reading this out loud in my school's assembly, which was specifically about bullying.
I get embarrassed by myself reading older pieces since I realise how much better they could be, but hey - I was younger then! I guess I really liked to play with words from a young age.
I hope you enjoy reading this piece as much as I did now. Oh... the nostalgia. :)
