The cabin - Reddie

Chapter 3 ~ the drive

Twenty Minutes into the drive and everybody is sleeping except Beverly, Richie and Eddie. Eddie fiddles with his fingers continuing to think about it, Richie notices how uncomfortable he is and wonders why.

"Hey, Eddie are you alright" He says it pretty quiet, trying not to draw attention to him.

"Huh? O-oh.. Yeah, im fine" He faked a smile, Richie could clearly see that he was not okay but decided it was best to not ask. But maybe he could try and comfort him? Richie puts his arm around Eddie's shoulder and pulled him close. This mad Eddie go bright red.

'Why is he holding me? And why am I enjoying it? Danggit, that tickly feeling is back Eddie freaks out in his head and continues to tell himself not to freak out.

Beverly looks in the mirror and spots the two cuddling in the back, her inner fangirl gets excited and she smirks at Richie in the reflection. Richie rolls his eyes but giggles a bit. He loves having a small boy under his arms, but he doesn't think much of it, just assuming it's because they're best friends. Eddie eventually falls asleep and lets out small breaths in his sleep. Richie can't help but stare at the small boy.

'Argh, he's so cute when he sleeps- wait, no he's not. He is but not in that way.. Or maybe he is cute in that way.. NO! Richie shut it' He looks out the window to distract himself from the small boy. Richie himself ends up falling asleep, his head resting against the window while Eddie's is resting against the other's chest.

Beverly parked at a small diner, everybody woke up by the sudden stop except Richie and Eddie. Bill turned around to see in the back back and noticed them both cuddled up next to each other, he giggled a bit and nudged Stanley.

"Psst, l-look at E-e-eddie and Richie" Stan turned around to see what Bill was talking about and quickly put his hand over his mouth in both shock and to hold back a laugh. Bill threw a sock he found on the floor of the van and threw it at Richie's face.

"W-wake up you t-two" Richie jumps up, waking Eddie and both of them getting embarrassed after noticing everybody staring at them

"Im up, geez. You didn't need to throw that B-b-bill" Richie rolled his eyes. "Come on Ed's"

"Eddie" Eddie corrects.

"Ed's" Richie replies as he gets out of the car.

Eddie follows after him but he feels a vibration in his pocket, he takes out his phone and sees his mum is calling.

"I'll meet you guys in there, my mother is calling me" Eddie picks up the phone, he doesn't want to speak to her but has no other choice.

"Hi Mommy"

"Hey Eddie-bear, how are you this morning? Is everything going okay? Have you taken your pills?"

"Yes mommy. I'm going good, everything's good and yes, I have taken my pills" He huffs

"Okay, I have to go Eddie-bear, call me if anything happens" Sonia hangs up the phone.

Eddie goes into the diner and sits next to Mike. Everybody is reading the menu and when the waitress comes over they all know what they want.

"By the way, we all saw you two getting real close in the van" Beverly winks at them. Eddie suddenly gets very nervous and chews on his lower lip.

"What can I say? I'm just a human magnet, EVERYBODY is attracted to me" Richie says confidently making everybody roll their eyes.

After they finish their mean Bill offers to pay and they all get back into the van. Richie reaches into the boot and gets out a packet of chips, he quietly opens them not wanting anybody else to eat them except him and Eddie. They both quietly stuff their faces with chips before Mike swings around and sticks his hand out, Richie high-fives him instead of giving him any but then gives in and puts some in his hand. Stanley then notices and looks back at Richie, making him roll his eyes.

"RICHIE HAS CHIPS!" Stanley yells, trying to grab the packet. Richie takes a handful out then gives the packet to the others, annoyed with Mike for taking it and making everybody notice.

After another two hours they finally arrive at the cabin, its beautiful with a view of mountains. It's in the middle of an amazing forest with nobody around.
