Bringgg!

"Yes!" Someone at the back of the class yelled out and ran out the door. Followed by everyone else.

"Summer Lovin'
Happens so fast.

Summer lovin'
Givin' me a blast!" Some random guy sang out to the girl next to him.

"Hey isn't that the weird chick, man?" Some guy asks his friend next to him.

I just kept on walking to my locker.

Finally reaching it in one piece, I got all of my books out, along with everything else, and dropped it into my massive gym bag.

Taking off the lock on my locker, I turn and make my way to the main office.

Upon entry, someone ran right into me. Making me and the person fall to the ground.

"Watch it! Will you!" I shout out, trying to push the person off of me so I could get up.

"I'm sorry. Some guys were chasing me. I didn't see you. I'm really sorry." A deep voice said from next to my ear that gave me goosebumps.

Before I could respond, all the guy's weight was off of me, and standing over me was my ex boyfriend holding Austin Powers by the neck.

My ex got ready to hit Austin but before I could blink, I'm standing infront of him. Protecting him.

"Babe get out of my way." Logan hisses out with anger.

"No. And I am not your babe anymore. So why don't you and your friends leave him alone and run around the field to cool off and blow off some steam." I spoke in the sweetest way possible and ripped his hand off of Austin's neck.

"Sure. Come on guys. Let's bounce. " He spoke in a ghetto way.

After Logan and his gang turn a corner, I turn to Austin. Who is now sitting on the floor with his head in his hands.

"Stay here. Okay?" I didn't wait for any response and walked into the office.

Lucia greets me with a warm smile on her face, as she fills in some forms and makes me sign them. All the while, I keep my eyes on Austin.

After everything was signed, I bid far well to Lucia one last time and promised to visit her, I turn around and leave the office with tears in my eyes.

Lucia was and will always be like a second mother to me.

Once the office doors were closed, I look at Austin. He's just sitting there, with his hoodie over his head and earphones in.

I walk up to him and tap twice on his shoulder and walk to the entrance of the school building.

I looked back and sow Austin trying to get up, but failed.

I frowned while I went back over to him.

"Austin, what's wrong? Did they break something before they started chasing you around?" I spoke in a soft voice.

Bang!!

I looked up just as the last of the other students left the school.

"They just jumped me. Nothing new. Let's just go." I heard a soft voice speak next to me.

"Okay well let's get yo-" I was cut off by my phone ringing.

Taking it out of my pocket I sow it was Mrs. Powers calling.

"Hello Mrs. Powers." I answered and sow Austin getting up slowly.

"Carti, is Austin with you? He isn't answering his phone." Mrs. Powers spoke in a panic.

"Yes, yes he is. His phone just died. Don't worry Mrs. Powers, I'll drop him off right now on my way home." I spoke and grabbed his hand as he was up but stumble a little to get him straight.

"Oh thank you sweetie. It's just that he never doesn't pick up his phone. I really appreciate it. See you soon. Bye." After giving her a bye back, I took him by the waist and started walking out.

"I can walk on my own." Austin said and pushed me to the side and walked to my car.

Shaking my head, I unlocked the car and got into the driver's seat.

"Do you want to go for a coffee or something and talk about why Logan and his group were chasing you?" I asked as I made my way through the gates.

"If you are talking about getting alcoholic beverages from your bar, then sure. Let's go." He said and looked out the window.

Rolling my eyes, I made my way to his house. Turning left and stopping at a red light, Austin chose that time to speak up.

"They were talking shit about you." He said in a very soft voice.

"What?" I asked confused.

"Logan was showing everyone in the locker room pictures of you in that black bikini and butt shorts." He said and gave a slight shake of his head.

"That doesn't matter. It's just pictures. I mean, yeah it's a dick move, but it wasn't worth all this." I said and started driving again as the light turned green.

"It's not the half of what happened. He then started to talk about how you opened a bar and how you look in a bikini without a short on. I didn't like how they spoke about you, so I punched Jean Patterson in the face and broke his nose. So they cornered me, beat the shit out of me then left. So I left the locker room but they waited for me outside the door." After he was done, my blood was boiling with anger.

"Then what happened?" I hissed out.

" They brought out our accident." He whispered.

Slamming on the breaks, the car stopped in the middle of the road.

"WHAT!?" I roared out.

Pissed was now an understatement.

"What the hell? Are you trying to get us killed?" Austin shouted out in panic.

"What are you talking about? What accident? You never were in an accident." I demanded.

He looked panicked and shifted in his seat.

"You're accident. Not our accident. Just yours." He nervously spoke with a nervous laugh.

"What did they say about my accident?" I asked as I started driving again.

"Just that you came to Baltimore to visit for a month then drove back home, but half way there you crashed your car. Now you don't remember anything. Now you and your brother and sister are staying with your Aunt." His rambling only made my blood boil more.

Turning a sharp right, I drove back to the way we came.

"What are you doing?! Where are you going?" Austin shouted in shock or panic.

"I need to see someone." Is all I said.
