Lady Haes pov

"Should we tell her, Lady Hae?" Chaeryung asked, "Not yet, it'll be confusing to understand.." I said, dusting my hanboks sleeves with a small sigh, "But her sister...is alive, Lady Hae. I think she deserves to know that and you know what." Chaeryung said, "Chaeryung, if I want to tell Miran that her sister is alive, I will. If I want to tell her that she isn't related to us at all and is the daughter of the long gone, dead king...what do you think will happen? She isn't related to any of the princes, she's the kings daughter. The king before King Wanggun. If she finds out that she is a princess, she'll leave us behind and she will be mad at us.." I sighed out. 

"I wouldn't, if you had told me from the start." I turned around to see Miran standing there, "Nor would I had been mad about Haesoo's survival. Or confused." She said, stepping closer to me. "You should've been honest with me, you could've saved yourselves a whole lot of trouble if you had just told me, but...now I can see you'd rather keep it from me. I would've found out by now, which I have, anyway." She said. 

"Miran.." I put my hands onto her shoulder, "I think it's best if I leave for a while, I'll be back." She turned and went off to her room to collect her things. By the time she got into her room, Wook came in with Prince Jung. 

Mirans pov

That's how I got to where I am now. It's been a year and a half since I found out my truth, sure...I'm Miran, I've adapted to it and I've become who I was brought to be. I spent the year and a half in the mountains, where I met a man who taught me every fighting skill he knew. I disguised myself as a male because he said that in these mountains, females weren't only vulnerable to outsiders, but prey to hunters who look for something perverted. 

"You're ready to return, Miran." Mr Sook said, I looked at him and bowed to him, "I will send word to you every now and then, I will get my revenge for my father. Queen Yoo....That ridiculous woman." I said, "Take my men with you, you're their new leader now." Mr Sook smiled, "I...have retired and will live the rest of my life peacefully, thank you, Miran." He said, "Mmmhm, call me the name you gave me, Mr Sook." I said, waiting for him to say it, "Minseok." Mr Sook said, "That's the last time you'll have to play male, Minseok." Mr Sook reminded me, "I know, but it's just nice to hear it for the last time." I adjusted my bun as I wore my all black male hanbok, holding onto my katanas handle whilst stepping back to my horse. "Travel safely, Minseok." Mr sook said. 

"Take good care of yourself, Mr Sook. Remember, if you ever...ever need me, call my name." I bowed to him before climbing onto my horse, "Goodbye." I pulled on the reins and my horse started to move, I watched as more horses with a people came out from the trees, they went behind me - blocking my view of Mr Sook. "Go!" I slapped the reins down and the horse started to run. The others following behind me. "Miran, will we be doing Plan A the moment we get there?" One of the men asked, "Yes, there is no rest until the Queen Yoo is on the ground...drowning in her own blood. For my father!" I pulled my katana out and held it up, the blades tip facing the moon, they did the same. "FOR KING KIM!" They chanted, 'These men have been outcast by the new royal family, it's time...to get back Songak.' I thought. 

I held the reins with my teeth since we were going in a straight path, I pulled out my mask and tied it around my head, it covered my nose and lower face, only showing off my eyes. I untied my bun and let my long hair flow down, I wrapped the hair band round my wrist under my hanbok before grabbing the reins and letting the black mask flow down to properly cover me. 

It was getting lighter, we travelled for hours in order to get to Songak. "Miran!" A voice called out, "Messenger." I held my hand up to stop the army of men behind me and I stopped my horse, the solo man on his horse came towards us. "I come to report the current situation in Songak right now." The man said, "Lay it on me." I stared at him, "Queen Yoo and the princes are travelling our way, they plan to visit Shingju in order of Prince So's sudden change in living. The queen and prince Yo aren't happy with it." He said, "Driving out more people, is she?" I scoffed, "Yes, Miran. What is your plan?" He asked, "Hide within the trees, attack on sight." I said, pulling the reins of my horse to turn him left, the men backed away into the trees and the road was now cleared, I kept my eyes out for them. "Remember, attack on sight. I don't care how, leave the Queen to me." I said, "Yes!" They all said.
