Princess Miran

Mirans pov

Walking around in a circle with thoughts in my head, I failed to notice Prince So walking my way. I bumped my forehead on something hard and when I looked up, we met eyes. I stepped back quickly and greeted him, "Why are you walking in circles?" He questioned me, "I'm just thinking....about some things." I replied calmly, looking away from him and staring over to the other princes who played around near the lake.

"About what, Miran?" He asked, "About how would my life be..if my father was still alive and..king. What would Songak be like now?" I sighed out, "You're overthinking it. It would be the same as it is now, Songak is Songak, no matter who the King is. The people make it home." Prince So said, "And I think he would've been an amazing king." He nodded and held onto my shoulders, "Do you still hate me for what I did..?" I asked, "I will not answer that." He said before walking away quickly.

"But Prince So...I..." I turned around but he was already gone, "Just wanted to say I'm sorry." I sighed out and kicked a rock into the lake, "Your dead ex-sister ruined the palaces floor with blood, who will take the punishment for it?" I turned around to see Princess Yeonhwa, her head tilted to the side and she stared at me with hatred. "If you're offering, I can tie you up and whip you." I smiled, she frowned and looked to her women, "Tie her up." She ordered, the women hesitantly took hold of my arms and pulled me away from the lake.

Prince Wooks pov

"Let's head back." Prince Eun said, I nodded and we all got up, walking around the lake to head back to the palace. On our way there we heard some pained grunts, "Sounds like someone is receiving punishment." Prince Jung said, "I bet you it's one of those gossiping servants again." Eun sighed, "Let's go check it out, shall we?" Prince Yo said.

He lead the way and when we got there, Mirans wrists were tied up and Yeonhwa was whipping her back. Miran had her eyes closed to control the pain, but her grunts managed to escape. Before I could rush in to get her out of there - Prince So swooped in and grabbed Yeonhwas hand, she looked round and sighed, "Release me, she has to receive punishment in the place of Haesoo. She ruined palace floors with the stain of blood." Yeonhwa says, "There is no such rule, this punishment is false. You are just one of the princesses in the palace ground, yet why are you acting as the Queen?" So said, Yeonhwas eyes slightly widened.

"Because soon I will be." Yeonhwa said, "I don't think so, I'm surprised you haven't heard...You're getting married and being sent to Silla, you're marrying the 5th prince over there." So said, "Well I never..." Miran snickered as she rose her head, "A tiny princess giving me false punishment?" She frowned, using the ties to help her swing, she swung forward and her feet slammed against Yeonhwas stomach, shoving her down the stairs and onto her back. So untied her wrists and she rubbed at them, "Such high hopes for a princess who is marrying a 5th rank prince...you'll be old and dying when it's his turn to rule." She giggled.

Miran pointed to the servants, "You handled me quite roughly, it hurt. Therefore, as Princess Miran, I order you to go beg forgiveness from the King, receive his punishments. How dare you lay hands on royalty." She said, I looked round at my brothers who looked shocked.

Mirans pov

I turned around to see Prince Wook, he stared over at me and it was a blank expression he had on. "Thank you Prince So, for stopping her and alerting me that her punishment is false." I bowed my head to him before rushing away from them all. Still, I felt like that didn't like me, So has spoke to me as seen from earlier but...I don't know whether he hates me still or not deep down.
