Mirans pov
"Did you hear? Haesoos at the age of an arranged marriage, I heard she is getting married to the King." One of the servants said, "How is it...that it's the same two servants gossiping? Where did you hear that kind of thing anyway?" I questioned them as they stood still after bowing to me, looking between the two one by one. "We heard it from the two men as they were leaving....I'm sorry, your highness." The girl said, "It's fine, I shall rely on you to come to me if you hear anything from now on." I smiled towards her.

Her friend looked towards her before looking back to me, "Yes, your highness..." They both said, "An arranged marriage to the king? What about Wook?" I wondered down the streets of the palace, looking around at the flowery scenery. "Princess Miran." I looked to my left to see Prince Baeka standing there, "Hello, Prince Baeka." I greeted in a softened tone, he stepped over to me with his hands behind his back. "I just wanted to ask you....Word travels fast around here, I'm surprised you didn't know of Myunghees death beforehand. Why? Did you ignore the news?" He asked, "You know how much you meaned to her, luckily Haesoo was still around. I've built a good friendship with her. But...her sister, Kim Miran also known as Princess Miran, didn't show her face at Myunghees funeral. Do you not feel upset about it?" He asked, I stared at him blankly before responding, "It's not that I ignored it, I acknowledged her death. But...I was busy training, training to where I am now. I was just a weak, confused girl a year and a half ago." I said.

"So you just...focused on yourself and didn't bother visiting Myunghee or Haesoo before she died? Did you even put a thought out to her? Pray for her? Send her anything to tell her you was alright? She worried about you a whole lot." He said, "Do you know how painful it is to see a friend worry about someone who left then behind whilst they was ill? Have you any idea the stress you put on her?" He questioned. "Are you trying to imply that the stress I gave her...edged her to her death even more? Are you trying to say that I didn't care for Myunghee? Is this what it's all about? Myunghee, the thought of her made me train harder in order for me to come back sooner...I was just...too late, a year and a half...too late. I thought she was going to be alright within the care of Wook and Haesoo, but it turns out...the two have been secretly admiring each other." I sighed, "I was against it too at first but...It was Myunghees dying wish that he took care of Haesoo.." Prince Baeka said.

"Sure...But back to me, I cared for Myunghee a whole lot. I didn't know she died until I got back here, until Wook told me. I'm not the sort of person to lay down and cry my sadness away." I said, "Not even for the woman who raised you?!" Baeka looked angry and disappointed, "If Haesoo somehow died right now, I wouldn't cry. Not even for my own death. Crying...will not bring them back." I said, "You've become a cold hearted person." Baeka said.

"You say that..as if you personally know me. Keep in mind...You only personally knew Myunghee, now Haesoo. Me? No. Not at all." I stared him in the eyes and sighed out, "Shouldn't you be trying to figure out how to get Haesoo out of this arranged marriage and help Wook get his girl back? Why are you wasting your time trying to make me realise I should be sad for Myunghee? She's been relieved of her pain. Would you have rather her suffer and cintinue coughing up blood? Do you think that's fair on an innocent human?" I asked, "SHE DIDN'T DIE BECAUSE OF HER COUGH! SHE DIED PROTECTING QUEEN YOO FROM AN ATTACK, YOU HAVE BEEN TOLD ABOUT IT. WHY AREN'T YOU ACKNOWLEDGING IT!?" He yelled.

"Because I've already convinced myself that she died naturally, covering the real reason up with a false one. It's how I stay strong." I said, he frowned and grabbed my arms. "Come with me." He started to walk and I forcefully followed him, he took me to Myunghees grave. "Now...Say that again." He said, glaring at me.

"I've already convinced myself that she died naturally, covering the real reason up with a false one. It's how I stay strong." I repeated, he widened his eyes and just let go of me. "How could you...be so brutally...disappointing? How could you...be so daring and say that!? Are you heartless!?" He asked loudly, "Maybe. Maybe not. It depends. I can be and I cannot be, who knows?" I walked around him and walked away from him, leaving him at Myunghees grave.
