"Can it wait? Sorry, love. But, I don't have the time." Kitty replied. Quill knew she knew about Him and Gamora. Kitty just didn't want her heart broken at the time being. Kitty always had the time for him. Anytime he asked. I could feel her pain. I've lived with it ever since 2018. The worst month EVER. Quill sighed and walked to the control panel to see what mission they had next.
"You okay?" Rocket asked as he walked up to Quill.
"Complicated." Quill answered.
"I can see that." Rocket said. "You should watch out. They might both kill you." Kitty was sitting in the lounge, almost the other side of the ship, near my room. But I didn't care. Quill had tried to leave her. For me. So the least I could do was walk out of my room. I walked down the hall, up behind were Rocket and Quill were.
"I wouldn't hurt him." I said.
"Really? Why not?" Quill asked. My heart beated.
"Your you. Why would I. I failed the last three times before. There is always something that stops me. I won't fight it." I replied. Once I said that, Quill's face lit up. He turned towards me. I could tell that he knew what stops me.
"In 2014 to?" He asked me.
"Yes." I answered. He sat up and just stared at me.
"Your not kidding."
"You know me, Peter! I don't joke." I said.
"You loved me in 2014?"
"Ya." I looked down at the ground. He grabbed my hand. I quickly pulled my hand away and looked into his eyes.
"But I can't love you anymore, Peter. Kitty." I said and then walked away to the lounge. I sat right next to Kitty.
"Why would you do that?!" She looked at me, almost crying.
"Do what? I saved your relation ship."
