What If: The Guardians Of The Galaxy: An Alternate Universe Went differently?

Love At Last

I followed him out the window, through some forests, and over a river.

"Seriously, where are we?" I asked

"I have no idea." He answered. "But Thor told me that there was a pretty cool place over here."

"What place?" I asked.

"Nothing." He answered. But I could tell that he knew what we were going to. We finally got to our destination. It was beautiful there. The sun was setting, so everything turned orange and pink. It was a cliff, but the view was the best part. A view of multiple waterfalls.

But, the waterfall(s) were directly in front of the cliff view. It was beautiful.

"This is beautiful. Probably the most beautiful thing ever." I said.

"Well, I wouldn't be sure about that. I know something more beautiful. This place is the second most beautiful." Quill said, staring at me. 

"And what's the first beautiful thing?" I said turning towards him, noticing that he was staring at me. 

"You." He answered simply.

"Your really cheesy." I laughed. He just kept staring into my eyes.

"So be it." He said. I turned away and saw that the sun had set and I could see the night sky. "I have a question for you." He looked into my eyes.

"Unless It's like a big life dissension, sure." I replied.

"Well.." He shifted uncomfortably. "What if it is?"

"What do you mean?" I looked away and smiled. Then when I looked back, I could tell what he meant. "WHAT!"

"I haven't even asked!"

"Don't care!" I yelled. 

"Well if we're doing it this way, whats your answer?" He got on one knee. I can positively tell you, I felt like suffocating. Why do I have to live on the same ship as the most cheesiest and creepy people/animals/plants in the whole damn galaxy!? I mean talk about creepy, we all remember this scene:

No. Just no. Why is everyone on this damn ship so weird?!

"So. Are you going to answer or just stare at me like I'm crazy?" He asked me.

"You ARE crazy!! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" I yelled.

"I was at least expecting you to not kill me for once, but I don't think that will ever happen."

"It really won't." I laughed.

"Please just answer for once."

"Fine." I crossed my arms. "Wait a second. Where did you get that ring? Looks familiar." I asked.

"Later. Just answer. My arms are getting tired." He said. I rolled my eyes.

"Yes." I answered.

"Yes to what?" 

"MORON! You said answer to the fact your holding  a ring!" I yelled. He looked at me, then the ring, then me again.

"Oh right. Um, anyways.." He put the ring on me. "You actually accepted! Who's better now, Rocket!?"

"Still me." Rocket yelled in the distance.

"Why are they always every where we are?" I asked.

"I have no idea. Maybe ask Drax? He's the master creep." Quill suggested.

"So. Where'd you get the ring?" I asked skeptically. I noticed that the ring was glowing blue. It looked magical, and I was not wrong.

"Oh. I found it in space."

"Where?" I asked.

"Just floating in the middle of space." He answered. I noticed that space seemed like it was controlled by the stone. Like however I flicked my finger that had the ring on it, space itself seemed to like, how do I describe it? Space reacted like it was the thing that got flicked, and it moved out of place, sort of. It would go back in place, but for moments, I shifted the universe with it. "Whoa! Did you feel that?! I think It was an earthquake!" Peter said so surprised. I turned towards him, and stopped fiddling with the ring. "Hey! How'd it stop when you stopped?" 

"Um.. We should go back to the ship." I replied. We got back to the ship, and suddenly, someone appeared. All of us Guardians, not including Kitty, because she wasn't there, got reminded on the thing we least wanted to get reminded about. The powers looked like Ego's. Like I said, the last thing we want to be reminded of is 2017.
