Great school day

The bus stopped on the side of the school to drop off the millions of kids swarming over about the first day
"So what classes do you got?" John asked, i took out my schedule "I got Mis Jones for math and Science-" John interrupted me "wait science AND math?" I shrugged "they lowers the classes this year, thought you knew that"
Me and John walked out of the bus, we both looked around to take it all in first "first year of high school, get ready. This is the thunder dome" John said when Amy ran over to us "John! Shara! It's so good to see old faces" she said as we walked into the school "oi I have you know I'm not old" John said in a southern accent me and Amy laughed. As we entered the school the halls turned to the sides filling with locker rooms and children,. I took a deep breath in and out "welp here we are! Who gots mis Jones?" Amy and John looked at eachother and shook there heads "I got Mrs. Rose" "oh I got that next class" John said and looked around "but right now I got... mr. locket" he continued to look around seemly looking for someone, I shrugged it off as weirdness "cool, I had mrs. locket last year, funny" Amy kept staring at John confused "that's grate- hey I gotta go, alright? Ok see y'all" but before me and Amy could say anything he left without another word "that was weird don't you think?" I shrugged "he's usually weird, probably just did something stupid" I looked around to see if my class was near by, Amy sighed "alright, ima go on ahead see you during lunch?" I nodded and Amy walked away. I had no idea where to start looking for my first class and sighed, I shook my head "gotta stay positive" I thought to myself and walked around when I found a sophomore around my hight looking for his class aswell. I mustered up the courage to ask him witch class is mrs. Jones and walked up to him "oh excuse me?" he looked and me, he had bags under his eyes and dark red hair but attempted to smile even if it seem tired like "sorry but I was just wondering where mrs. Jones was" I took out my paper and showed it to him, as he looked at it his smile brighten up "oh yea! Mrs jones I know her, I'll take you there no prop" his voice seemed a little scraggy but I was fine with it and smiled putting my paper back in my pocket "thanks a lot!" He walked the opposite direction where he was originally going and gestured me to follow, i gladly followed walking right next to him "the names Oliver" the boy said taking out his hand, I shook it "I'm shara" he put his hand back in his pocket and started up a conversation "I knew mrs. Jones last year, she's really nice. Best part, she lets you take out your phones as long as it isn't a test day or if your doing a project" I was surprised "really?" He nodded "yea, did the mistake of taking it out on a test day to text someone, she took it up but I was cool with it" He started laughing at himself "lesson learned, don't take advantage of mrs. Jones because she will do things without hesitation" I giggled and asked "did she give it back?" He shook his head "Nope! That was probably the worst part tho" we took a left and stoped at the second door, Oliver opened it for me "malady" he snorted "sorry, anyways see you around?" I nodded "yea, see ya" and walked inside the door closing behind me "morning!" I said, let the day begin!
Throughout the first three classes Shara gladly asked people without hesitation, teachers seemed nice about it, freshmen were glad to help eachother, and seniors and sophomores were glad to not go to class early and have a good excuse on it.
Class let out for lunch, I took my book bag and walked to the lunch area looking for John and Shara, when I got there I saw Oliver talking to about five other sophomore, one seemed like a senior. I waved at him and he waved back smiling, I smiled back and looked around when Amy came from behind and scared me "BOO!" I jumped back "Holy shit!" Amy looked around and started laughing "sorry but I saw you lost and I couldn't resist" she continued laughing and started coughing, I shook my head "amazing" I looked around "where's John?" Amy took deeps breaths and talked her voice sounding rusty "i don't know" I saw John walking up to us "yo!" I waved and walked to John "let's get lunch before they close it down" Amy nodded coughing.
After we got lunch we sat a table and started eating "so how was today so far?" I asked, John put a thumps up wall Amy shrugged "eh, I was late for my second class and got tripped by a senior on the way to my third" Amy sighed "ouch, I almost got tackled by one of my friends" John said laughing "how was your day?" Amy asked attempting to steal johns cookie "it was great, I met a lot of cool people. I think I made a sophomore friend" John slapped Amy's hand "girl don't you even! Anyways what's the sophomores name?" He said, Amy grumbled and continued eating her food. "Oliver, he seemed pretty cool" "Oliver? The joker Oliver?" John asked I shrugged "he did make a joke" John nodded "yep I heard about him, my sister knew him last year, said 'he was the joker of the school!' Or something like that" John said when he looked at Amy who was looking at his cookie. I watched as they started fighting over food and giggled
Thought the rest of the school Shara continued talking to others and making new friends, "today is the best day!" Shara thought, she had no idea what was coming to her
