Trying to explain

I opened my eyes to see the ceiling still sleepy, I sat up yawning was that just some weird dream I thought to myself. I looked at my hand to see my skin was darker then normal then I looked at my window to see the telescope in the same place, surprised i said "or not..." I reached from under my pillow and grabbed my phone looking at the time "oH NO-" I said steaming, I jumped off my bed, changed into my uniform, put on my boots, brush my hair, grabbed a pop tart then ran out of the house grabbing the house keys and my book bag. I locked the door then ran down to the bus stop where I could see John in the distance with headphones on. I finally caught up to him breathing heavily, he put one of the ear buds behind his ears and turned to me "your late" his expression change from amusement to confusion as his eyes trailed down me then back up to my face "you look... darker..." he said, I laughed nervously "uh... so remember the back out? Crazy!" I looked at him confused "what? What do you mean?" John looked at me more confused then before "uh, the blackout? It happened because of some weird technological issue?" I looked at him with pure confusion, how isn't he talking about the big meteor that went right over are town? I was about to speak when the bus pulled up in front of us. John and I walked into the bus as I greeted the bus driver 
The bus rolled into the bus loop and let us out "wait so let me get this strait. You found a meteor because of your telescope and ran after it? Then when you got there there was weird slime in the meteor that got absorbed by your skin?" I nodded "yea!" John snorted a little "you've been watching to much anime" I looked at him annoyed when Amy snuck up behind me and grabbed my shoulders making a gurgling noise "I know it's you Amy" I said as I looked behind me, Amy looked surprised "what?! That always scares you" I rolled my eyes and we walked into the school "hey your skin looks darker Shara" Amy said as she pointed at my face, I slowly pulled her finger out of my face "yea it's a long story-" "she says a Alien from outer space dug into her skin" John said, I rolled my eyes in annoyance "uh I didn't say it was an alien" John shrugged and walked off screaming "sounds like an alien" I looked at Amy and Amy looked back at me with confusion "well uh, tell me about your weird alien stuff when it's lunch" she said then took off, I growled in frustration as I walked to my class. As I walked to my class I was stopped by Oliver "hey shara" I smiled and waved hi "hey you look different, you look darker. That or I just don't remember your skin correctly" I shrugged "nope, my skin is definitely darker" Oliver nodded when a deep male voice called for him "yo olive branch! Come on" Oliver smiled but it looked angry like and he screamed back "funny dude, told you to stop calling me that!" He then turned to me "see ya" I waved bye as we both went to class
The first three classes had already passed, I walked to the lunch room and looked around for Amy and John. In the corner of my eyes I could see John and Amy walk over to me, I turned and waved at them they waved back in response and we went to get lunch. We sat down at the same table from yesterday "so what's this about some alien thing you met?" Amy asked as she started eating "it isn't an alien, it's some kind of radioactive goop from outer space" i I was so annoyed that they couldn't understand what I was saying. John snickered "sounds like a weird dream" he glared at Amy as she tried to steal is chips, she retracted her hand back quickly "really? Explain this" I said harshly as I put my hand on the table showing my now dark skin "how can I possibly get this dark within a day? Explain that!" I said anger in my voice, Amy looked at me with complete shock wall John shrugged Now looking nervous "are you... ok shara?" Amy said hesitantly, I looked at her seeing how nervous and scared she was, my rage suddenly washed away leaving the feeling of embarrassment and guilt. I put my hand next side and sighed a thick strand of hair falling in front of my face "sorry, I'm just frustrated I guess..." I glanced my eyes to the empty seat next to me. I never got this angry before, I shouldn't be screaming at them like this. this was unfair for them, they did nothing wrong. I was being so rud- "Shara!" My thoughts were cut off my John yelling out my name "earth to shara you there?" He asked. I looked strait at him "did you hear me? I said that after school you could show us where you found the meteor" i thought about it; it could be proof and my friends could believe me. I nodded "sure" I felt my usual happiness return again as I smiled
