There was something about Camelot's castle that made it unnerving for the three years old girl. She couldn't tell if it was because of the banners that showed a golden dragon over a blood-red background, or if it was because of the king who looked down at her and her sister with a obvious frown in his face. He was tall, with broad shoulders and she could tell he was doing his best to not even look at her and her sister, focusing the entirety of his vision on her mother who bowed like everyone should in front of a king expecting her daughters to do the same.
She was the first to comply, followed by her sister. She was able to see a child standing right next to the throne, he wassmall next to the chair, skinny, short brown hair and eyes as green as hers were blue, he looked closer to her sister's age than her own but his big green eyes were focused on her.
"Igraine. You must be here to accept my offer" the king lifted himself from the throne and walked to the woman, lifting her head with a single finger. The youngest child's mind immediately went to her father. Recalling mostly the kindness in his eyes when even when he tried to maintain a severe expression, how his eyebrows fell whenever he had to execute someone no matter how fair he had made sure the trial was or how whenever he touched her mother's cheek her eyes always lit up and he looked at her in a way that made the child think about the way the birds sang.
There was nothing of that in the king's eyes, just the same smile her sister had whenever she successfully stolen a portion of the dessert she wasn't supposed to take.
"Of course, my king. I'll do anything to ensure the safety of my children and the kingdom that was left for me to take care of" the woman spoke with solemnity, the king's smile faltered, and then lifted again.
"Yes, of course yours and Gorlois' daughters, they'll be very welcomed in my castle"
Liar
"Thank you, your majesty"
"Please, call me Uther, now that we'll be married you more than anyone should call me by my name" The girl turned to her sister, how her arms were crossed over her chest. Then, she looked at her mother, her blonde hair was braided up, and her blue eyes looked at the king, tense smile on her face. She wanted to run away, look somewhere and find her father wherever he was so he could tell her about faraway lands and carry her over his shoulders, but she stood frozen watching how the king placed a hand over her mother's stomach.

"Jonathan this isn't funny!" Gabriel screamed as Valerie crawled on the floor trying to remove her bracelet avoiding a second attack from the knight who was solely aiming at her.
"You think I'm doing this shit?" Jonathan raised his voice staring at him with his as up as they could. "I can't even... I can't make a bloody dandelion bloom and you think I summoned an asshole made of shadows!?"
Valerie lifted herself from the ground turning the bracelet into the sword in one swift motion.
"Gabriel, Audrey, get out of here!" Valerie screamed, there was an attack coming after her. She raised her sword, but never felt steel clash against it.
"I am not...!" Audrey didn't get the chance to finish before Gabriel was pulling her by the hand running away in the opposite direction from where the knight was, all the way down the hallway
Taking the air in, she dodged one of the knight's attacks. She then, launched at it with her sword up, the sound of metal clashing resonated on the empty school's halway. She glanced at Jonathan, who raised his hands pointing them in her direction. The knight pressed his sword, the teenage girl struggled to keep her own raised, pushing against the knight with all the strength she could gather.
