Upon Emry's words, Morgana's face twisted, her eyes opened wide scanning him looking for any trace of what he said was a lie, a careful lie that Uther had crafted and pushed him to say hoping it will the straw that would finally push her out of the castle on her own so he could avoid the repercussions that could entail. But she knew those green eyes, and she knew he wasn't lying, he had never lied to her.
"He did what?!" She snapped.
"It was my fault I should have known better" Emrys begged, still on his knees "Please forgive me, I..." Morgana glared at him, her eyes spitting fire as she walked past him, her feet resonating against the stone, the door opened before she pushed it. Emrys ran after her, standing up from the ground as fast as he could.
"Do not come with me, go somewhere else, anywhere, but don't be anywhere near" He stopped, in his tracks, turning to the other side.
She walked into the council room, where Uther stood at the head of the table barely sparing her a glance when she stopped at the opposite end of the table, pushing the person who sat there, who fell to the ground staring at the teenager in horror.
"Uther!" Morgana screamed, at the top of her lungs, the air moving the banners with fury, the members of the council covered themselves. "Uther Pendragon!" she pressed her palms against the wood, the table nearly turning with the impact.
"Morgana stop with the childishness; can't you see I'm busy?" Uther rolled his eyes, his hands reaching for one of the scrolls the impact had taken away from him.
"You are busy?" Morgana raised an eyebrow, the air hitching in her throat "No, Uther you are getting me wrong, either you'll listen to me, or I'll make you"
"Morgana that's no way for a lady to behave in front of a council even a lady that's like you should know that, ask yourself what your father would have thought of your behavior" He didn't lift the eyes from the paper ahead of him, Morgana tensed.
Morgana walked around the table, past the men who were watching the scene with open eyes, breath in their throats and attentive ears, doing the best to remember every extensive detail of the scene.
"I can't know it because you killed him!" Morgana, snapped her fingers, her eyes shone brightly and then, Uther's chair was facing towards her, there was a flash of fear in his eyes that he rapidly subdued "Just like you killed my mother after him, that's all you wanted he for, didn't you? Just so you could have an heir you dropped off"
"Girl" Uther glared at her, his voice with a layer of fury he did not bother to hide. There was a hush of whispers amongst the men sitting at the council "Watch your tongue" He spat with venom.
"Or what? You'll do the same thing you did to Morgause? You'll marry me off?"
"Morgana you should be grateful I took you under my tutelage, I raised you after your mother passed, I took you into my castle when your father, king Gorlois unfortunately left us."
"Every single men in this room knows you were the one to orchestrate his murder." Morgana exhaled, glaring at him "But knowing how you managed to do it it's what makes me sick to my stomach, you are a monster Uther, and I hope you'll be remembered as such"
"How dare you?" He stood up, raising his hand, Morgana took a step backwards, covering her face, but the blow never came. "I am the greatest king Camelot has ever had and will ever have"
"You are hardly worth as much as the horses' shit that gets cleaned every morning, you are a disgrace to this kingdom, and unworthy of having sat on the same table my parents once did"
