With a swing of the sword, Connie's blade ran through the hollow Pearl as she ducked to avoid it's own attack. Meanwhile, Steven behind her held the shield, stopping every attack that came his way from the opposite Pearl. Glancing back at Connie, they switched sides and the two hollow Pearls were easily defeated.

If this was them fighting on their own, I couldn't imagine them fighting as Stevonnie. While I had never see Stevonnie, I had heard plenty about them. And I couldn't wait for the next round of fighting, fusion training as Garnet called it seemed so exciting to me.

Although she knew it would be slim chance she could do it, she understood how Connie and Steven fused. They were close, and I wanted them to be. It wouldn't be the same fusing with me. What was fusing anyway? She hadn't seen any other gems fuse before. She was aware Garnet was a fusion but she had never met her seperate halves and she did wish to.

Pearl clapped her congrats and summoned for hollow Pearls. Both Connie and Steven met eachothers eyes before fusing with a bright light. It was a beautiful scene. As I saw the tall, fusion of the two I felt a ting of admiration. That was awesome she had to admit. They looked beautiful together. Stevonnie is definitely the ship name. I can't say anymore.

After a while of training, the two finally unfused and gave eachother a hug. "I should really be getting home." Connie said, packing Rose's sword into her bag. "Thanks for the training Pearl!" Pearl smiled. "Np problem, anytime!"

It was nearly time for herself to go home, after I had called my perents an hour ago to say I wanted to stay alittle longer. They agreed aslong as I came home in two hours. I still had an hour to use up. Maybe I should go see Bismuth.

"C'mon (Y/N)!" Steven called her. I jumped from my thoughts and raced over to the warp pad with them. With a giant flash of light they appeared at the temple. The gems split away from eachother, heading their own directions. I turned towards Steven. "Uh, can you warp me to the forge?" I asked. He stopped in his tracks and turned around quickly. "I wanna come to! I wonder if she's finished your sword yet?" Steven agreed and warped them to the smoggy place.

I let Steven lead the way, I couldn't wait to see the sword. Bismuth had proved she was very talented at making weapons, I couldn't help but wonder how? Was she trained to?

"Steven you mentioned something about Rose's sword being made by Bismuth herself last night. Did she make any other gem weapons?" I ask. He looked thoughtful for a momment. "I don't know really. She did mention something about outfitting every crystal gems with weapons made by her, so I was wondering the same thing too."

I thought for a momment again. That's intresting when you think about it, she made every weapon for the crystal gems. "Like the weapons the gems summon too?" I asked. Steven blinked at her again. "No idea." He smiled with cluelessness.

They reached the forge and walked down the hall of stairs, as it had been left open. They could both hear the distant clang of what they presumed to be Bismuth making something. I started to walk faster, exitited. I couldn't wait to see the sword, no doubt Bismuth would do a good job.

As soon as they walked in, Bismuth looked up. Surprised. "Ah, Steven, (Y/N). How was the training?" She asked, continuing her work but slowing down so the sound wouldn't drown out what they had to say. "It was great, me and Connie are really getting strong as Stevonnie!" He exclaimed, happily. "That's great, i'll be looking forward to your fusion I've heard much about." She smiled. Then her eyes drifted towards her slowly. "Did you take part this time?" She asked.

I rubbed the back of my neck. "No, I-I didn't. I was too distracted by my thoughts really." I admitted. She gave a slight frown. It sent a new feeling through her.  She could only discribe it as when you disappoint someone you look up to.  "When I finish your sword I hope you'll try." Bismuth replied. Her eyes sofened up as she saw the disappointment in my own eyes. "I'm sure you'll make a great fighter, even though you aren't a gem."
