8: A newfound feeling?

Here you go, a new chapter! Also, I added this cover of Other Friends because I really love it and I want some other friends to find out about it, I love it!

By now it was late, I hadn't left my room since I got back, however the arguement downstairs had seased and the house was in silence after a slam of the front door a few hours prior. I layed back on my bed, scrolling through my phone in complete silence.

Today had started so well, but ended so badly. She didn't know what was going on but she wasn't sure she wanted to know, her perents fought like this sometimes and she knew it was best to stay out of it. Then I heard a grumbke of my stomach.

I sat up and closed my phone, my eyes drew towards the door. I stared at it for a few momments before getting up and walking out, I went downstairs silently to find the house empty. I peeked into the kitchen and grabbed some snacks from the counter as quickly as I could and took it. I didn't want to stay in the house anymore so I went outside and walked down the streets. It was quite dark now but I knew it wasn't that dangerous in Beach City at night. I made my way up onto the huge hill over Steven's house.

Before I had moved, I used to have a treehouse high in a tree beside my house. I used to go tgere all the time when my perents fought. Fresh air always seemed to calm me down but as I reached the top of the hill I couldn't help but cave into her emotions. I sat there, cuddling my legs close to my chest sobbing quietly.

"Well, this isn't the (Y/N) I know,"

I heard a voice behind me, I heard the person sit down beside me and my head shot up. It was Bismuth. I averted my gaze from her and wiped my face quickly, keeping silent.

"C'mon, (Y/N) you can talk to me." Bismuth urged me, her voice growing soft. I looked back up at her, Bismuth's eyes were worried. "I-I.." I stammered, my throat burning. "My perents, they've been fighting alot lately." My eyes darted from her to the ground. "The whole reason I'm even here is because of a fight they had." My head sunk to lean onto my knees.

There was silence for  few momments. "I know I don't know about your perents or really how parents work but there is no use in feeling sad, the fighting may not be good but you do have to remember that you came here because of that, you met Steven and Connie, your best friends." She said softly, I could feel her eyes burning into me.

You don't understand, and it doesn't help.

"Me and Steven made up after out fight with the help of friends and each other, pherpas your parents could too with the help of you." Bismuth continued.

I sniffles and thought for a moments. She is right.

"Thank you Bismuth, this helped me." I looked up, meeting her soft but worried gaze. There was silence for a few moments and a quiet tension that passed through herself, making her heart flutter.

Bismuth blinked, breaking the stare and stood up. "I know what will cheer you up." She held our her hand to me, I took it and she pulled me up.

"Why don't we go to the forge? I know you've been wanting a visit since I finished your sword." Exitement passes through mr and I gave a quick nod. She smiled happily, Her smile was warm, she pulled me closer as we walked down the hill and entered the house quietly.

There was no one inside as we entered which I found strange.

"Don't worry, they went out on a mission this afternoon, I decided to stay behind." She looked down at my worried eyes, meeting mine once again. I gave a nod and glanced away again, feeling hot.

I was just worried..

..right?

Short chapter, writers block has really been getting to me, don't worry though I'll be trying to post as much as I can.

Talking about posting, I plan to post a little different then I do usually, for me I always post a chapter whenever I'm done with it or when I feel like but that is going to change, I will be only posting on weekends (my time). As I have been struggling to keep up with study and everyone, lots of exams these couple of weeks.

ALSO I WOULD LIKE TO MENTION THAT THIS STORY HAS GOT TO 900 READS, THAT'S JUST AMAZING, I'M SO HAPPY I LOVE YOU ALL.
