one week after the final exams and the students finally had their breath of relief. it was lucky of them as the school given them 2 weeks of break.

yerin growled as she continue to click the next button of the remote control, the television changing channel from news to romantic movies. nothing was even good enough for her to watch.

"well isn't it fun without school." she sarcastically smiled at mina who was busy scrolling through her phone.

mina sighed, "this is better than getting in trouble."

yerin's brows furrowed, "getting in trouble?" she turned the television off and faced her friend, "i'm hearing this correctly, right? are you really admitting that we're literally getting in trouble for being friends with momo and eunbi?"

"i don't mean that, yerin. we got in trouble because we meddled with their business. it's not really their fault."

it was yerins turn to sigh, "i'm starting to realize that we really are dumb for trying to defend them."

mina finally dropped her phone to look at yerin, "we're not dumb, yerin. they said it themselves, we're their friends."

"then why don't they hang out with us? why do they get mad when people see them with us? i don't think that's how friendships works, mina."

mina released another heavy breath. yerin was right, even moonbin, minghao and soonyoung was right. those mean girls were just using them. 

mina remained silent but yerin gave her a smile instead, "it's okay, mina. we have each other, remember?"

mina nodded and finally showed her gummy smile, "i can't believe we listened to them. we should've just joined the dance club with the guys."

yerin laughed, "it's too late for that. let's just enjoy the break and when we go back to school, let's try and avoid momo and eunbi."

"i thought you said break was boring?"

yerin laughed even harder, "i didn't say it was boring, i said it's fun without school."

mina rolled her eyes and pushed yerin on her shoulders, "you were being sarcastic."

"duh."

and as the two were enjoying teasing each other, their phones beeped at the same time, startling them.

confused, yerin took her phone and started searching for the text message.

mina, who is already holding her phone, looked at yerin who was still searching for the message.

mina tapped yerin, "look at your email, yerin."

yerin immediately clicked on her email, both confused and amazed at how they both got the same email.
