Suitcase picked up one last fruit and closed herself.
Both Knife and Suitcase started heading back, there wasn't much talking so Suitcase decided to break the silence.
"So, how are you?" She asked "Fine." Knife responded
Back to silence.
"Do you think the other two are doing alright?" Suitcase asked "Of course they're fine, they actually have light to help them see. Unlike us." Knife huffed.
"Then why did you suggest we split up?" She continued asking.
"Because it was going to be faster to find food, now are you gonna keep asking questions or are we gonna keep walking." Knife said.
Suitcase looked down and just followed.

CRUNCH!

.Knife slowly walked towards the sound, he lightly pushed some leaves away to try and see if anything was there.
Though the creature was barely visible, you could tell it was huge, and it's weight seemed like it could just crush someone in an instant.
It was crunching on bones like it was candy.
Suitcase decided to go see what Knife was looking at, when she got there she was about to scream but Knife quickly put his hand over her mouth.
They started backing away slowly from the monster.
A coconut fell but it hung by a string like a spider "Ah! I see you have found my other experiments! Aren't they just lovely!" it said with joy.
The monster's ears perked up and went the direction the three of them were at.
Knife noticed and immediately slammed the coconut down and kicked it.
"I really do hate you!" the coconut yelled as it was flying through the air.
The monster soon started growling and slowly heading their way.
"Uh Kn-knife, we should probably start leaving." Suitcase said with a scared tone.
Knife grabbed Suitcase by the handle and without hesitation he started running.
The sounds of him stepping on sticks and rocks caused the monster to roar and run after them.
It bumped into trees, breaking them or knocking them over in the process.
Knife jumped over logs and continued running, Suitcase seemed like she was gonna be sick.
In the distance Knife could see the fire where the others are.
Instead of going towards the fire he turns and runs another way, which the monster continues to follow.
"Why didn't you go towards the fire?" Suitcase asked, continuing to feel like she was gonna vomit.
"I'm not taking this stupid monster to the others, it's best to just lead it away." Knife said, he could barely say it though since he was losing his breath.
Eventually they reach the edge of a cliff, Knife stops.
There's a big body of water at the bottom of the cliff.
The monster slowed down and started walking towards them, it growled and bared its sharp, bloody teeth.
Knife put Suitcase onto the ground.
The monster just continued to get closer.
Until it jumped at them.

-Paintbrush's POV
I gently put the rest of the mangoes on the ground and started heading towards the sound.
I moved some leaves and branches out of the way, I saw something bright.
"Lightbulb?!" I exclaimed.
She turned to me, holding a bunch of lizards in her hands.
"Oh hey, Painty!" She said happily.
I was about to say something but then there was a roar that sounded far and in pain.

((A/N - I might draw these monsters soon but for now just imagine.
The monsters don't have eyes btw-
Also I wanted to say that this book will most likely not have ships but that might change later on.
