A young girl once had a doll by the name of Mary-San. The girl loved Mary-San with all her heart. But one day her father got a better job opportunity, and they had to move. The young girl lost Mary-San in the commotion of the move.

The parents left their daughter alone one night as the went out. The girl explored the new house. The phone rang from the other room, interrupting her search. The girl picked up the phone.

"Hello?"

A small, feminine voice answered,

"Hello, it's Mary-San. I'm at the garbage dump, now."

Fear rushed through her veins, and she instinctively hung up the phone. She caught her breath and sighed, convincing herself it was merely a prank call, nothing more. The phone rang again. The girl gulped, and despite herself, she picked up the phone.

"Hello, it's Mary-San. I'm at the corner store, now."

The girl hung up again, determined she wouldn't answer it anymore.

The phone rang.

She found herself listening into the receiver.

"Hello, it's Mary-San. I'm in front of your house, now."

Her legs felt like jelly and everything seemed to sway. She managed to open the front door, but no one was there. She wasn't entirely convinced everything was still okay, though.

She made her way upstairs but halfway up, the phone rang once more.

She told herself to ignore it; leave it be. It's just a stupid prank. But the longer she listened to it ring, the more curiosity built up inside of her. She couldn't help herself. She headed downstairs and picked it up, knowing very well who would be on the other end.

"Hello, it's Mary-San. I'm behind you, now."

The girl wheeled around.

The parents returned home to find their daughter mangled, laying in her own blood.

They say there are certain precautions to take to rid yourself of Mary-San.

-Lock anything that she can get into. Doors, windows, etc.

-Do not answer the phone.

-Keep your back against the wall.

-If she appears behind you, do not turn around, just quickly exit the house.
