'Are you going somewhere?'

Sunstreaker watched me pull on my shoes. 'Yeah, back to base,' I said. 'Why?' He questioned. 'Matt,' I said. He sucked in a breath. 'I will be back around the afternoon,' I added. 'Is he still mad at you?' He asked. 'He wants to sort things out,' I replied, grabbing my purse. Sunstreaker hugged me before stepping back. 'See you around, Siders.' The mech smiled at me and watched me leave.

Sunstreaker disliked it if I mentioned Matt or went out to talk to him. I had the idea he was a little jealous. I think he has an optic on me but he will never ever admit it. Sunstreaker hates humans and he's too proud to admit it.

I arrived at the base and Matt was waiting for me in the cafeteria. He embraced me and gestured to me to sit down. 'So, how's Sunstreaker?' He asked. It was a forced question, but at least he asked it. 'He's stable,' I replied. Matt gave a small nod and sucked in a breath. 'Look, I don't like what is going on between us,' he began. 'Me neither,' I replied. 'And we both know that you're the main issue here,' he added. My jaw nearly dropped.

'My fault?' I repeated. He nodded. 'You see your brother in that mech. That's wrong,' he said. 'I want to help him. Regardless what happened to my brother. Sure, I don't want the same thing to happen to Sunny, but I really like him. He's my friend.'

Matt snorted. 'Please, Heather. Sunstreaker is a psycho and they don't have friends. He's using you,' he snapped. 'I thought you wanted to work things you with me,' I said. He sighed and calmed himself down. 'I do, but Sunstreaker is still a problem,' he said. 'You know I love you, Matt. Sunstreaker will never replace you,' I said. He snorted, 'dating that mech? You must be crazy to even consider dating him. He'll be alone for the rest of his life and I don't doubt your loyalty,' He said. I raised a brow. 'Okay, you're being rude and mean right now. I didn't came here to talk about Sunstreaker but to sort things out. Apparently, you're not ready yet.' I got up and so did Matt. 'I am sorry... just... sit down please.' He softly pushed me down.

I sat back down. 'We can work this out, but only if you let go of Sunstreaker,' he said. 'You know I can't do that. He's a friend, rather you like that or not,' I stated. Matt shook his head. We argued for some time and when I left, I doubted our problems were really solved.
Sunstreaker walked up to me when he spotted me and pulled me in a tight hug. 'What did he say?' He asked. 'It's getting better. We sorted a few things out,' I sighed. 'Oh...' Sunstreaker pulled away from me. 'Is there a change... you two break up or...?' He asked. I shrugged, 'we're on the right track,' was all I said.

I glanced at my brother as Heather walked upstairs. 'You can't ask that,' he said. 'Why not?' Sideswipe got up. 'Because, she loves him and wants to sort things out,' he said. 'I haven't asked any offending. I only asked if there is an possibility that she's going to break up... because of me.' Sideswipe raised a brow. 'I didn't know you fell for her this much,' he said. 'I didn't. Okay? I was only asking it because I was interested.' He snorted. 'Yeah, because you want to claim her,' he mocked. 'Don't isolate her, Sunstreaker. She has a life outside the base. Just be grateful for the things she had done for so far,' he said and I rolled eyes.

I settled back down on couch and started thinking. I felt jealous and moody because Matt is more important to Heather than I am. If I can only get one kiss of her. I shook my head and unmuted the TV. I should get it out of my mind. That evening, it was quiet during dinner. Heather was obviously not in a good mood. She was lost in her thoughts and not paying attention to me.

I laid my hand on her arm, getting her attention. 'You're okay?' she smiled and gave a small nod. 'I feel fine, don't worry about it,' she snorted and waved her hand dismissively. 'Do you wanna talk about it?' I asked. She shook her head. 'Don't worry about it, Sunny.' I gave a small nod.
After dinner, I followed her upstairs and sat down on her bed. I grasped her hips and pulled her on my lap in a straddling position. She rubbed my cheek. 'You're so beautiful...' a blush spread over her cheek. I softly brushed some strands from her beautiful face before I leaned in and softly kissed her. Her eyes widened in shock and she pulled back. 'Sunstreaker! What do you think you're doing!' She snapped. I flinched, 'I am sorry... I didn't mean to upset you—' she cut me off. 'Maybe it's better if you leave.'

'Heather please... I am sorry.' I grasped her arm but she pulled her arm back. 'It was just a kiss, nothing more.' She snorted. 'I am dating someone, remember?' She snapped. I got up. 'I am sorry...' I wanted to hug her but she stepped back. 'Sunstreaker, go away... please.' I sighed and walked up to the door. 'I am sorry.'

I walked downstairs and laid dow next to my brother. 'Why that deep sigh?' He asked. I rolled on my side and wrapped my arm around him. 'I love you, Sideswipe.' He snorted. 'Honestly, what is wrong with you,' he mocked. I buried my face in his neck. Sideswipe wrapped his arms around me and hugged me tightly. 'Bro, what is wrong?' He repeated. 'Nothing... nothing. Just need a hug from you,' I muttered. 'You never want my hugs,' he scoffed. 'I do...' I sulked. 'You need sleep, Sunstreaker. I bet it will make you feel ten times better,' he teased. I rolled my eyes. 'I am not tired,' I sulked. He only shook his head.
