Julia ran back out the door. Avery jumped up to go after her. "I told you this couldn't work out," Avery said before leaving, "but you wouldn't listen."
Avery ran out the door after Julia. "Wait!" Ash called out as he ran out the door after them.
>Outside<
"Julia wait!" Avery called out,"let me explain!" "Leave me alone," said Julia, "I thought you were my friend." Julia ran towards the woods.
"Avery wait!" Ash called out. "Ash just stop, you've made everything bad enough already." Avery said, her back to him. A car could be heard starting up in the background.
"I can't stop," said Ash, "I know I've made a lot of mistakes but I lo-" car tires shriek and there was a crash.
Frightened, Avery turned around.
Everything in her broke.
The car barely missed hitting a tree.
The person in side was most likely ok, but.. Ash was lying on the ground gagging up blood.
"No..no...no" Avery cried, her voice breaking. She ran to him and fell to her knees. "Ash..?" Avery said, warm tears streaming down her cheeks. "Am I dead yet? Cuz I see an angel." Ash said weakly. "You really make jokes at the worst time possible." Avery said smiling, tears still streaming down her face. "It lightens up the moment." Ash said, smiling a little then coughing up blood. Avery got out her phone to call the police. After the call she looked down and saw that Ash's eyes were closed. "No no no no no, don't die on me now, not now. I love you too much to lose you!" Avery said, shaking Ash. "Hey calm down, I'm just resting my eyes, jeez." Ash said, his eyes flying open. Avery's cheeks turned red, "Sorry.."
"So you do care." Ash said. "Why wouldn't I?" Avery said rhetorically. "You should go back inside," Ash said, "it's cold out here."
"You expect me to leave you lying out here in the middle of the parking lot?"
"I belong here." Ash said. "I'm going to ignore that statement," Avery said, "and no, I'm not leaving you..not again."

This chapter was sad and short, and Jolee probably going to hate me but hey I'm updating quickly 😂. Tell me what you thought about this chapter or the whole story so far. Honestly I think it's cheesy and everything is happening a little too fast, but I do like how everything comes as a surprise.
