Too scared to try
To try new things
Like raising my hand
What if I'm wrong?
But what if I'm right?
I never think that far
So I try and gather my courage
There's fear of being embarrassed
But I keep trying
My heart beats fast
Can I really do this?
What if they laugh at me?
What if they judge me?
So I hide behind a confident face
To be honest... I'm scared
