Colors streak by
Blending, smearing
Time is ticking
The ground looms closer
With each
Passing
SecondWith a few minutes
or seconds
To spare,
I construct a helicopter
Out of The Archimedes sphere
After bursting into flames halfway down
(Must be because I'm so hot)
I land safely to see
A goddess glaring at me
Hazel eyes
Perfect skin
She looks like one of those...
Popular girls
Those girls that bullied me
(Why's she gotta be pretty?
I'm trying to hate her)Not long after she tries to get me
to leave,
Muttering under her breath
"You must be a mistake"
"A joke from the gods"
For a second
I confused them with
my own thoughtsThe raft won't appear for me
It further proves my belief that
I'm a mistake
This lady will never
Never
Like
Me,
Nevermind
Love.
I'm not Jason,
Righteous
And leader-like.
I'm not Percy with
his cool water powers.
I'm just scrawny
Why would she ever
Love me?
