You groaned when the girl decided to run to the cemetery. "No, that's where the killer is! Go to the car instead!"
Of course, this being a horror movie, she didn't listen and got killed.
The apartment door rattled behind you, and you turned to see your husband, Shoto, walk in.
"Hey babe. Come snuggle with me. How was work?"
He sighed and kissed your head. "Rough. Mt. Lady tried to flirt with me again."
You rolled your eyes at the mention of the woman. "Does she not get the fact that you're not only married, but gay too?"
"Apparently not," he remarked as he bundled up next to you on the couch.
"Well do you need anything to make you feel better?" You sent him a side-ways glance.
He knew what you were talking about. "Right now I think I just need to be here with you. Maybe later tonight, though."
You snuggled up against him. "Well then you're going to help me tell at the characters."
He chuckled, and you felt him move. "What movie is this?"
"The Jeff the Killer films. It's the fifth one of the creepy pasta continuation."
He looked into your eyes, and you into his. This was the man you loved, who you could be yourself with and he wouldn't judge.
"You're the best, babe," you murmured as you ruffled his hair.
"I can't be the best, because you're the best."
Yup. This man was the one for you.
