Peridot got used to the emotions that came on the gems faces whenever she had talked. She never meant to talk at all, she had no control over it. Still, they would stare at her with shock before it morphed to pity. She didn't want to feel this way, she wanted to be treated normally.

They were so set on getting Peridot back. But she knew this wasn't her she was talking about, it wasn't her. Peridot watched as the people dispersed and the gems headed in her direction. Peridot held her tongue very still, refraining from making a sound. Garnet crouched infront of her and stared into her eyes. Peridot narrowed her own.

There was a momment where Garnet seemed to flinch slightly, surprised. She murmered something so quietly, it was only her that had heard it.

Peridot took a step back, casting her head in the direction of the temple. "Do you want to go back?" Garnet asked.
Peridot gave her a firm stare and the fusion guessed so, getting up and making their way back.

Peridot followed them inside the house, Lapis was sitting on the couch cuddled into a ball. Her eyes lit up as she saw Peridot but she said nothing. Peridot stared at them all.

After all this time, Peridot began to grow distant with time. She felt diffrent, the memories she had a while ago were almost erased from her mind, replacing them with negitive thoughts that swarmed her brain.

"Steven? You could try your healing spit on them. It would bring them back for a little bit wouldn't it?" Pearl asked from where they were on the floor. Peridot padded over and layed down, her slitted pupil darting around at them.
"I don't really know, when I healed Centi she was reforming so I don't know if I can do it while they are like this." Steven replied.

"What about the diamonds? I could try talking to them again?" Steven suggested, seeming to be more thinking alloud then suggesting. "What in space? How do you expect us to get there?" Amethyst said. "Plus, they think they've got rid of us. It's better if they leave this planet alone then come back to kill us again."

Steven gave me a desprate look before licking his hand and touching my gem on my gem. I felt a tingle and blinked. My head shot up, eyes wide. They all stared at her, waiting. Then she felt her form falter. Don't.

Then she was gone, she saw nothing but black. She was surrounded by it. Where was I? What was happening? Am I trapped here? I trusted Steven, what did he do to me? She cried in her mind, she raced around the black place. It was endless. Then it lighted up.

She was bck on the floor, looking down at her paws she jumped back. They were connected fingers not her limb enhancers. As she looked around she saw the happy faces of the gem and jumped back, she didn't remember them instantly.

"You remember us right? I'm Steven, that's Connie, Amethyst, Pearl, Lapis and Garnet." Steven said quickly. A part of her mind clicked.

"Yes."
