Spoken

After finishing whatever pizza was Peridot insisted on leaving, strangely enough Bismuth took her outside leaving the others inside. peridot stared at the gem for a few moments as they walked across the street onto the beach and towards the water. Peridot stopped by the waters edge and sat, running her fingers through the cold blue liquid.

peridot hated it but she knew she was being watched, by Bismuth. she wasn't sure how to feel about the gem, was she hiding something? The sound of footsteps behind her made Peridot flinch and turn her head the that direction. 

Above her stood Bismuth looking down at her with a small smile. "How are you Peridot?" she asked me, Peridot narrowed my eyes little, looking down at my hands. I felt fine. 

There was a few seconds of silence before Bismuth sat down beside her. "Sorry." she said, Peridot looked up. Bismuth looked into the distance as she spoke. "I'm sorry for treating you the way they treat you, I can see how it bothers you." she told me. Peridot let a sad smile cross over her face, she opened her mouth to say something, unsure if anything would come out. "you do..?" she whispered. 

Bismuth looked over at me with surprise. she nodded and smiled a little at me. 

Peridot let the silence stretch out, unsure of what was coming next. 

Then there was a grumble and the water bubbled in front of them. Bismuth rose to her feet quickly, so did Peridot. Then a large blue  creature emerged from it, it had a large frill behind it's serpent type head, white its back was covered in a large feathered tufted. 

Bismuth seemed to shudder at its size, giving Peridot a sense of fear, she walked forward to stand beside Bismuth. Bismuth frowned at her. "Let me handle this, you can't use your powers yet." 

Peridot frowned, stareing at the monster ahead of them.
