J chuckled when Harleen buried her face against his chest. She was such a good girl seeking comfort from him, and he was more than happy to give it to her. Stroking her hair in a reassuring gesture J kissed her forehead.

"Shh." He cooed as he rocked her from side to side.

Pulling back the Joker looked into her eyes. He was trying to assess why she was crying. If she was embarrassed that they had been seen, well she would have to get used to it.

Once he broke out of here she would not be leaving his side. The Joker's men came and went in his home and clubs, so there was a good chance this wouldn't be the last time they were caught in an intimate act.

We are not taking her with us. That is not part of the plan. She is a means to an end.J huffed trying to shut that voice up.

He knew that Mr. J was trying to scare her away. That he saw her as a hindrance to his plans. The Joker also knew that if it was up to Mr. J he would get rid of her through any means necessary.

If Mr. J had hurt her Jason was going to have to smooth things over. He and the Joker had these odd feelings, ones that seemed to overwhelm Mr. J when she was around. Almost as if she alone could still the beast he tried to keep chained. As if Jason was gaining his life back because of her.

Harleen keep her gaze downcast. She was so ashamed at being turned on by his rough handling of her. Never in her short life had a man taken full possession of her in such a way. Of course Jimmy had tried, and in the end he had failed.

"Princess, look at me. I want to see if we hurt you."

J's touch was gentle as he lifted her chin. The sight before him was breathtaking. Her beautiful face was a light pink from crying, tear tracks glistening on her cheeks.

"Are you happy now? Mateo saw us." Though she tried to sound tough her voice was soft.

Harleen was trying hard not to let him see how much he affected her. How she wanted so badly for him to bend her over this table and screw her silly.

He chuckled, placing a soft kiss to her lips. "I think you're more upset I didn't give you your release."

"I can take care if my own needs. But thanks for nothing." She tried to hop off the table, but the Joker was planted firmly between her legs.

"Oh doll, don't be angry. You were very naughty. We let you off easy."

The calm he was radiating had Harleen's head spinning. Only moments ago he was in full on control freak mode and now he was as docile as a lamb. The difference between the three men who resided in him blew her mind.

Harleen was sure that if she could learn to tell the difference between them she could help him. That knowing what triggered him and the ways to ease him back from his more violent tendencies could bring back the man he once was.

"Is that what you call slapping around a grown woman?"

He tutted and wagged his finger. "I know you are smart enough to know the difference between abuse and discipline."

"Why?" Harleen couldn't help how pitiful she sounded.

If he was claiming this was discipline then she had a right to understand what she had done wrong. Especially if she didn't want a repeat. It was definitely not easier to beg forgiveness than seek approval where the Joker was concerned.

"I thought we went over that before your punishment." The Joker said as he nuzzled against the mark he had left on her neck.

He had been serious. There was no way Harleen had thought he was. She could not live her life in a bubble. Nor could she hide away from Bruce Wayne when his company funded most of the research at Arkham.
