James' point of view
Emily went back to the basement, and the lads and I went up to my room.
"step sister you say? What's that going to be like?" Brad asks striking up conversation. In all honesty I didn't know what it would be like. My dad seems to like her, and he really does love Maya. Just having another sister would really take some getting use to.
"Well I haven't met her, but according to my dad, she's an anti-social emo who needs mental help. I hadn't really thought much about it, I guess." I mumble it out so I'm not sure if the guys even heard me.
"BOYS!! Maya and Livi are here! Come on down stairs!!" my dad yelled up to us. Tris gave me a look, with an emotion I couldn't pin point, but I just shook it off and jogged down stairs.
When we got to the living room I saw Em staring from the window and my dad outside, I presume, welcoming Maya. I decided to be polite and walk out to greet them, but when I went out I saw that my dad had already emptied out the boot and was hugging his fiance. I didn't see Olivia, so I assumed she was still in the car. I went around to the passenger side and opened the door, revealing a black haird girl wearing a grey sweatshirt and dark skinny jeans.
"Don't wake her, I'll just carry her in" her mum lightly smiled at me, I could tell she was tired, and I figured carrying a teen aged girl up the stairs would be quite difficult, so I decided to offer to bring her in.
"nonsense, I'll carry her, you must be knackered after that drive". I exclaim, sticking my head and arms into the car, unbuckling her. Maya rubbed my back a bit and walked off. I slid one hand under her knees and the other on her back, picking her up bridal style. She cuddled her head into my chest subconsciously, so I couldn't see her features too well, but I could tell she had choppy bangs, and hot pink and blue bits in her hair. She was quite heavy, she had a good 56kgs. on her, but she wasn't 'fat' no where near it.
I walked in the house and the boys started 'aweing'. They are so immature, but we probably looked pretty cute. I started walking up the stairs and the boys followed for some reason. The door to our guest room was shut so Tris went in front and opened it up for us, he also pulled the blanket down so I could put her in properly. Olivia wasn't wearing shoes so I just slid her phone out of her hand but it on the bed side table. We took one last look at her and shut the door to give her some peace.
We walked down the stairs in silence, that was, until Connor spoke up. "when do you think she'll wake up? I'm dying to meet her." he asked excitedly.
"Con, mate, we just put her in bed, let the girl sleep" Brad exclaimed, pulling out his phone. We went on social media for a bit, following fans, giving them updates, texting friends and all until Emliy came up stairs.
"dinner's ready if you're interested. Maya and dad made chicken ala queen." she informs us, just then Brad's stomach made that dying whale noise that it does when he's starving.
We made our way downstairs and sit at the dinning table serving ourselves. Maya struck up a conversation about our band, obviously not knowing what she was getting herself into.
Olivia's point of view
I woke up in an unknown place, there were white walls with navy blue trim, and I was in a double bed with a dark blue/plaid duvet. I hear my phone go off, so I search around for it, finally finding it in the obvious place of the bedside table. It was a text from my only friend Magda, we don't live in the same country, but both of us are very unsocial and shy, so it works I guess.
Text from Maggie Burch; hey Livi, what are you up to? enjoying your mum's fiance? Oh that's where I am! I totally forgot about that. I wonder where everyone's at? 7;30pm. They should still be up.
